Me with him and summer girl
This is too sad for me.
Mitsujou
I feel like the backstory/ prequel's potentially problematic, but as a standalone, this seems to be a surprisingly problem free surprise mpreg manga? Weird, but I don't hate that. 4.5
The One Under The Wing
Oh, shiiit. I feel like he's gonna break my guy's heart. I hope not. The sex is, scorching, really. I haven't seen smut done this well in ages. Not since Walk on Water/ Sign/ On or Off
Pamper Me, My Manly Maid!
Ch 8. Premise is hella weird but characters are cute. 4.55
Jujin Tono Sex Ha Iho Desu
Shiit. This one's so difficult. Will the laws change? This is so degrading and discriminatory, gosh
Rebirth
Yeo-dam has been imprisoned by the increasingly obsessed emperor and made to serve in his bed, despite how Yeo-dam would have gone along with him of his free will, had he only been asked. After an assassination attempt, Yeo-dam foolishly gives up his life in exchange for the Jin emperor's and is sent back to the past by the deity he worships. Can he avoid the mistakes of last time? It's good, but the emperor was really a monster, huh. It's amazing to me that their interactions in their childhood the second time around could change their lives and his personality this much. I'm glad for it, but the man really was insane. God. Anyway, I enjoyed the premise and the characters. The bit with the kid is less endearing than I had hoped. I had hoped the Emperor would come to love him. But no matter, this was still very good. 4.85
The secret life of the demon king
Mm. Times are hard and Demon King Hel finds himself a job at the sex shop managed by a mysterious human. When you go in, I think you really need to be aware that all this is, is crack. There's no sincerity and you really shouldn't be expecting plot or depth. That way, maybe you could enjoy it. I did like that Hel so emphatically and repeatedly stated that he didn't think being the bottom made him less dignified or worthy of respect, though. But overall, waste of my time. 4.2
Please Throw Me Away
The plot is utterly fascinating. But the length leaves much to be desired. It feels like this will probably still be going 10 years from now. Because we've reached the 90s with so much left to be resolved. Edit: I stand corrected! Things fell into place like a mudslide after that chapter! I thoroughly enjoyed this, tbh. Very satisfying end. I'm glad that Adele gets to use her real name and become recognised in her own right. And poor Hexion too, after living all those lifetimes in such agony, this twist of unexpectedly prolonged happiness is more than welcome. And can I just say I'm not sympathetic that Duke Viphta has to live such a miserable existence now? And the prince and Bella too. They've earned it. My one issue with the story is that the mains don't really have much of their personality shining through, especially in the earlier chapters. Like, you're peripherally, vaguely aware that they're kind and generous, and brave, even. But the story doesn't capitalise on that, rather preferring to focus on the plot. But, oh, what a plot it was! Forces me to give this 5/5 with no regrets.
Hell & High Water
It's very good, and draws you in very well, for a story about cops. I loved Dex, he's genuinely such a good person, if a bit of a pain in the ass. Much Jim Kirk energy. The rest of them, including Sloane are also not bad, but their cop bullshit was grating, especially in the beginning. Other than that, superb plot, excellent twist, and truly well paced storytelling. 4.9
