Meguro to Akino wa Kizukanai
No need to get pissed off, love. You drove him out, remember? Edit: unsatisfactorily resolved. Or rather, left us in the infancy of the developing relationship. Using your imagination is nice but this was too ambiguous. I need some form of stability

Chanbit really improves upon acquaintance. I started out hating him for how he played with Chae's feelings (though, to be fair, it was a one night stand and Chanbit had made no promises). But even before finding out about the abandonment, the high school bullying, the apathetic grandmother and the rapist groomer of a boyfriend he had his first time with, I had started to love him and how lovely he was in general, to those around him. Of course, once I learnt about everything that makes him do the things he does now, I was on his side, all the way. I am so glad he has someone like Baek to see him through these absolutely horrid times. Baek is really great not only because he cares so much for Chanbit and is clearly willing to do anything and everything for him, but also because he is more than capable of doing it. I love that they kept Chae on and built him up as a character. Also, his relationship with Chanbit and Baek (especially, Chanbit) became a good source of support for them. I am glad Mr.Park decided to do the right thing and redeem himself (yes, he had bills to pay too, but he could have discreetly warned them) by going to all that extra length and even pushing Baek to find Chanbit. Glad he's doing well for himself now. Younghae. What to say about him. I do hate him. He is such an evil piece of shit. I do think he loves Chanbit, in his own way, but his own childhood full of neglect and abuse has made him twisted up inside, maybe beyond help. His suffering is still not grounds to cause others pain, though. Something that really irks me is his dad's actions. How dare he try and take the moral high ground with his kid after willfully being such an abusive prick to his kid, and while still continuing to take no share of the blame in front of Younghae and still abusing him, even physically. It's pretty sick. At least, he settled all the severance pay and reparations shit. So there is that. I am so glad that evil cockroach of a secretary/manager got his just desserts. What a vile creature. Overall, pretty happy with the ending, and I especially love that they left DM anyway. Definitely the right decision. They'll be happier. And they deserve it, too. 5

Don't do this. Face yourself. Please.
Oh! My Assistant Webtoon
Kiss cliffie!! Soldier on, fellow perverts! Nicely done, both likable, but is probably more smut that anything else Edit: It wasn't just porn. It wasn't half bad, but there wasn't a tonne of development. Characters were nice, but again, I wasn't in love with them, despite them not having any major flaws. I did like them a lot though. Mangaka just couldn't really endear them to me as much as I expected. Except the side character. I wanna see the friend as an uke, with a seme who is nuts over him. Also wanted more of a closure (although this much is also not bad) on that asshole ex. Maybe show him what he missed or some shit. Having said that, it was still a good story, and the sid le characters were supportive. Though the grandma completely writing him off her will like that just seems very, very wrong to me. 4.5
Dear Signal
2 stories about an AU where some people get heart shaped rashes when they experience strong feelings of love. 1: Childhood friends have feelings for one another but one doesn't realise it because the meds he is on to supress a heart shaped rash also suppress his feelings of love. Arashi was so clueless and a bit of a playboy but he redeemed himself well enough. And he clearly thinks the world of Haname. Haname was cute, glad he came out with his feelings once the rash was out, otherwise Arashi is so thick that he would still not have gotten it. 4.6 5: I understand that Miyoshi is clearly jaded by a traumatic experience in his past due to his lover being in love with someone else, and the rash showing up in their reaction to another person, but it absolutely gives him no right to be so discriminatory towards Kaga and others with rashes. And then he even got mad at Kaga for not having the rash! I kinda pity Kaga. But at least Miyoshi realised he was being unreasonable and Kaga and hin seem happy now. 4.4 Overall: 4.5
Kedamono Arashi - Kiss Me Baby! -
Aaaah!? I don't think he is cheating, though?! Edit: Of course, he wasn't. Ridiculous to even think that. Really, this didn't need an extra book. Pretty much filler future fluff episodes Also had an extra story with 2 chaps tacled on about unrequited but requited love childhood friends reuniting story. Was nice and hot and stuff, but agaim, too short to think ttoo deeply about. 4.5 each
Karasugaoka Don't be shy!!
Enjoyed it, fairly simple and straight forward
Kyuuketsuki ha shinzo no yume wo miru
Walked in expecting something mind-numbingly cliché and predictable but ended up with a quiet tragedy. Really, almost too painful. Not sure which parts hit me the hardest. Hisato waiting literally centuries for the love of his life, Shuuri being resigned to never be loved by someone who likes everyone, and therefore, really, likes no one or even Roche begging Akashi to kill him. Meeting after decades and the unassuming tenderness in that moment and Roche just being... so fucking tired. Like, I can't deal with this emotional trauma
Yamada To Shounen
This is so incredibly beautiful. The relationship is one of the best and healthiest I have ever had the pleasure of reading in a bl, across all media. This is just so good. I dunno how mangaka ecpexts us to make do with measely 12 chapters. The seme is so caring and so nice and the uke is such a kind boy who grew into a fine man. Very well done, indeed
