Fukigen na Kemono no Itoshikata
It's so-so. The art is nice but the attempt of mixing average fantasy and Omegaverse-like settings just doesn't work for me. If there are average humans and 'beastmen' walking about, naturally speaking, a human would never be affected by a beastman's pheromones...we just don't have the capacity for that. Now, if the author had gone for the MC being part beastman, then I'd have found no fault here but a regular human doesn't 'fall into heat' just because a beastman nearby is horny. At least call it some sort of magic, then yeah, that might work just fine, but not like this. The art is decent so if you ignore the plot faults and it's rushed writing just to get to the smut scenes, then it's an okay read. You do you, read it or leave it. But I for one don't really find this investing or immersive. It's average at best but a good enough pageflipper I suppose. 3 outta 10 - Not really recommendable tho since it's just too boring and only has the artstyle and smut scenes going for it (which are ALSO rushed along a bit...so even there I'd only give half a point).

Except for the artwork and the basic plot of demon invasion and such, this story has ZERO interesting points. I'm fine with a but of poly, or people doing it when hating each other, but this is just rape excusatory galore without any redeemable or hopeful features. If the MC was at least into it himself, I'd be fine with it, but he gets raped every other corner and the author makes the writing pretend we're supposed to be cool with it. And from what I've seen so far, the novel has NO positive aspects either, so i doubt the comic will turn out different. You do you, if you have some mental problems and find actual rape stories something you can get your rocks off to, go for it. Anyone else with a shred of empathy and sanity left: Bail. You'll be better off without it. 0 outta 10 actually for the rape filled and excusatory story itself. 8 outta 10 for the artwork.

Yeah, nah, no thanks. The art is decent but goddamn is that plot annoying. Religious nutjobs felling a peaceful empire just so they can go Zira from The Lion King style? Meaning, "we lived in dirt, GIVE US ALL YOUR GOOD SHIT!" instead of asking for alliance and trading? Yeah no. The seeming blood ritual to make it rain was the last thing this story needed. As if religious nutjob plots were really that big of a fan favourite, YUCK. The art is nice but I won't bother with this any further. The MC is a but flat and pitiful as hell, the male lead, supposedly he is anyway, is an absolute shithead and I really do NOT care for him to get a sob story 'he has a trauma!' excuse later on just so we're supposed to like him and cheer him on in getting the MC as his girl. NO THANKS. If this was less filled with rape-y vibes and religious bs I'd keep reading, but this is just not appealing in the slightest. 1 outta 10 but only because the art is decent.

Puke-worthy, rape bullshit that pretends to have some sort of appeal. The author and whoever actually enjoys this kinda shit should get therapy, seriously.
Continued Love
As per usual with chinese works: The base idea was interesting but the writing is just terrible and the awful translation work doesn't make it readable in the slightest... The characters behave idiotically pretty much 24/7 (which is the norm for chinese works, but oh well) and the plot is written quite lackluster with unnecessary stalling and cliche drama you've seen at least a million times. It's not worth reading on any front. Mediocre at best, but only then I'd say on a scale for chinese works specifically. Not general asian works such as manga and webtoons from korea. You won't miss anything if you skip this. To be honest, reading the first plot and then having yourself imagine the entire story and how it turns out is probably worth spending your time on much more... 0 outta 10
He Guanyu & Xu Xingchen
Okay: NO. This is worse than those obnoxious 4-koma style comics. This is a mixture between short comic pages and smut illustrations, all in one 'chapter' but all with ZERO connection. This feels like a shitty sketchbook collection rather than a serious comic work. And none of the content in it is anything good or special either. So it's disappointing on all fronts except for once in a millenium a chinese work has some decent art style. But that is still not enough to make this worth reading. It's not a comic, it's a sketchbook collection with some random 'story' pannels inbetween smut art. If you like that, go ahead, but if you are looking for a COMIC to READ, you know...a STORY, you'll be sorely disappointed and you shouldn't waste your time and instead go look elsewhere. 0,5 outta 10 But that small percentage is really only because it's rare for chinese works to have decent art (and with that I mean art that does NOT look like some crappy amateur sailormoon style/timeline shoujo art, mind you).
