I read this till like chapter 32/44 or something like that two and half years ago so I literally forgot everything but I wanted to be able to finish it completely, which I did. I remember thinking it was simply okay when I was reading it back then but now it's just eh. I feel like had I read this when I was in middle school I would've loved this but I just thought it was okay. I wish he was younger I felt like the age gap was way too large but I guess because the author doesn't really make their age gap that big of a point I found myself forgetting. I also remember really really really liking the 2nd male lead and yeah I agree w my past self on that one. Overall, not so memorable, but I appreciate the beautiful art and I do like the relationships between everyone at the boarding house and how "found family" esc it was even though I found myself not caring that much about the fl/ml (side characters made this manga a lot more fun)

(ch 81) The thing with the ml is I feel conflicted. Because fl is the primary main character, I despise the ml for not trusting her because we knew she was innocent. But honestly, had he been the primary main character and we saw his pov, fl was very very very suspicious and plus with the fact that she couldn’t tell the truth and no one knew she was under a curse, the ml’s actions aren’t that irredeemable because they had good reasoning behind them, at least reasons that make sense. Though doesn’t mean J love the male lead because he was an ass hat, I do think this instance of him not trusting her makes sense realistically. But bruh…once the translations and art got better this manhwa had me HOOKED in the same way that What It Means to Be You despite the fact that I dropped it ages ago. Cant wait 4 the next chapter
