Such a low rating doesn't make sense This looks like a lot of angst and trauma, but also the potential for a really honest & raw portrayal of how living with trauma can present. I'm actually really excited for this. I love the authors other works and the art is gorg. The description is a bit confusing Also, we have chapter 2 which seems full-ish but there are 2 chapters 1 which are just a page... Hope it all gets fixed! The translation is good though

Wahhhhh! This is totally the type of manhwa I'd read and the 'interesting' (read UGLY) faces?!!@- those are my JAM!!! I hope the novel does really, really well so it's made into a manhwa soon

See...my issue with the plot described is that it seems to frame the 'surrendering' occuring after torture and ABUSE like 'falling in love' and the ML 'embracing' some kind of 'enjoyable sex with pain'. However...unless the sex has consent, then...it's rape. And if you're enslaved, then you can't fully consent so....rape. At best (forgive the phrasing) it's dubious consent. At best. All down with the FL having more power in the dynamic for once, but why enslavement? I feel like people in general really aren't aware of all the safeguards that are the foundation of true BDSM (which I think the author may be trying to lean into). Anyway, that's my 2 cents. The plot may recognise all this and give us the informed consent-led BDSM we ALL (I typed what I typed) dream of. *Also, shout out to the scanlator for putting a plot description!

I'm totally feeling this new work! The added East Asian Physiognomy is fascinating and the FL seems very strong & determined I hope their adopted family suffers and suffers some more TBH. My heart hurts for her, even if she is just a fictional character

A really interesting plot. Not sure if they're alluding to agoraphobia or some sort of other trauma, so it'll be fascinating to see what avenue the author has chosen

Um...the 'hes' and 'shes' being so wrong in the description make me uneasy I think I'll wait for this to marinate and then check the comments

Do I fully know what I just read? No. Was it hot AF? YES. A THOUSAND TIMES YES! Definitely did feel a tad 'mind-break' towards the end, but it also was a very easy & spicy read. The translations weren't 100% TBH, but one can definitely make do
