hmmm i know shizume loves tomo, we can see it in how he acts when they're alone. maybe this would really work with someone as patient as tomo, or someone that is genuinely okay with being strangers with their lovers out in public. Or if they are also closeted or has a trauma that resulted in them being okay with pretending they're not lovers when there are other people around. But I know I can't. I would get hurt if he'd brush off my hand if I try to hold theirs even if I know he won't because there are eyes on them. I'll cry if they say they don't have a lover or a boyfriend even if I know they're just acting. For me right now, it seems a if Tomo loves Shizume more in the relationship. I'd like to see Shizume get jealous.
