Now I see why they usually make the "actual hero" evil and weaker, the one in this story is strong and such a good boy that the mc just seems like a useless character. I get going around alone cause the hero can't leave but when those two were going to the demonic country he could have just gone with them? To give the hero some healing? Idk he just makes a lot of pointless choices, he would have been long dead without the plot armor. I would rather read the part of the story of that yakuza girlboss and the wholesome hero rather than this average dude with his typical elf girl. It was nice at first to see no betrayal or condemnation but they seriously overshined the mc

Too cringy for me, maybe it's the clichè, but more likely it's how they executed it. In the first chapter it seems like she starts cooking right after being summoned, only later they show that actually some time has passed. Then the guy comes in and it seems like they meet each other for the first time, but then later they show that they actually spent some time together already. It would have been better if they just told these sequences chronologically, but it's nevertheless a bit too cringy for me, I usually need to empty my head for these type of mangas but I guess I'm in feeling judgy rn

The merchant guild master is so stunning

Extremely devoted girl in love who's capable but puts herself down. Another day another typical shoujo trope, this time it's the conveniently strong, conveniently weak type, though I did like the adventurer/action part of the manga. Also there was more chemistry with the handsome guy in the few minutes they met than in the whole 3 years stalking the hero.

It's kinda harem but not the annoying type for me
