I would've never ever imagined it would have been him in the modern day, what a shock lol, I like it tho

There are no "tropes" or popular stereotypes, nothing like dense bright girl who blushes a lot, nor a handsome or ugly guy who is a scumbag or a perfect prince, their development was awkward at times which made this so natural without it being unrealistically romantic. It's probably the best depiction of a healthy modern couple. When I read the kiss scene in the usual shoujo mangas I think oh ok they finally kissed, but their kisses made me feel so envious and I hadn't felt that in a while

It's good but at the same time it's not. Good premise but the execution is average
