Idk why y'all so mad at the girl I'm actually kinda glad she doesn't blush when the other guy gets really close. She's just a teen who fell for a nice memory and got addicted to the healing presence of the guy onto whom she is projecting her fantasies. Like for the smelly shoes, she's convincing herself of an unconditional love regardless of the evidence in front of her. But in this story, the shoujo romance part is the existence of this prince unconditionally devoted to her, who protects her at any cost and looks at her only, which is ironically the least realistic part
