I don't think it's the relationship that progressed fast but it's about the storytelling? Maybe they decided to put the development in the second chapter so that the main point of the story and the meaning of the title came out by the end of chapt 1. Very wholesome

Cute, normally I would point out some major flaws but instead I will just shut my brain and continue this op mc wholesome story with a straightforward plot and not too much drama. It's enjoyable if you don't think too much, and if it continues like this we will have this extremely illegal endgame of granny x brat which I have never seen before
