『Fangtasia』's manga / #Drama(1025)

This manga style of artworks sure enough will put someone new to it off puting. I too feel dissapointed at first but for the sake of the story keep continue reading to the end. And it didn't make any difference to my first impression (9_9)¡ But after i give it another couple of chance so i can get used with the art, it somehow looked beautiful in a realistic sense. Dunno how to put in words, it seems like a new kind of artworks that based on a realistic appearance of human i guess. It's the same feeling when i read manga for the first time (it was Candy Candy). And it took me quite some time to finally see the beauty of those huge head and eyes (^_^). As for the stories i think they are more suitable for adult taste because it's mostly related to proffesion world issues at the beginning. The romance is not bad but not enough to be good too (maybe because they are oneshot story type). However i think it's a good start considering the sequel series (cafe minamiaoyama..) improved in the stories side and increasing through out the series. Not to mention the main male characters are all bishonen (only if u already get used with the arts) fufufu.. (^.^) So, if you dare enough for something new, try this one with an open mind. Then you may enjoy the sequel as much as i am.

Too bad we didn't get Sei's (seme) POV. I wanted to rad about how he noticed or discovered everything including him contacting with Kaoru (uke's brother). That didn't really seem like the end. It was really rushed at the last two chapters and the twists were a lot. I was like wow'.

MANIPULATIVE PAIR + TOXIC PPL The order of which chapters to read first is messed up and we don't know what is what anymore cause we got the scanlation groups working on it, official all ages releases, official mature releases, and fansubs with redrawing releases. (><) Same author as 'Stalker's Game'. the mc has inferiority complex bc hes always been 2nd place no matter what he do so when the time comes for him to see the great eunsung fall, he took it. both charas here r trying to get a rise from the other, as if theyre playing chess hence "checkmate" title. Also the old dude (the painter) abuses the apprentices who help at the atelier. The story has depth rather than focusing too much on s*x scenes. The art is good. Both MLs are smart, a bit psycho I think (? And I like it).
