Neck and Neck
Alt. Title: Dead Heat MANLY UKE UNDER COVER DETECTIVE X YAKUZA •░[]░•In order to overthrow the nation's largest gang police officer ,Yu Jihan has been order to go undercover for an year to infiltrated & find dirt on this gang ..But his identity is soon gets discovered by the the organization's 2nd in command ,Han Do Gyeong & decides to become his personal dog & cum dump but things started taking strange turns when feelings starts to develop. I really thought that for once we'd ger an MC that would actually take the betrayal and lies seriously... but I was hoping for too much I guess. What happens after chapter 15 : ● he didn't even land a single punch in that smug face because he's a cop and can't raise a hand against a prosecutor aka can't use violence or he'd get in trouble ● he storms out all pissed off, and then whines and talks to himself about what a little bitch he is for falling for Dokyung's lies so easily ● annoying blonde lectures Dokyung about how his actions are so "unlike him", something about him sleeping with MC blah blah blah ● Next scene MC has a dinner with his new team. After their dinner blonde shows up again and in a very annoying way tells MC that he thinks Dokyung has feelings for him or whatever ● then Dokyung shows up, MC gets pissed off again and they have an argument and he tells Dokung he's had enough of his game and that he wants to be left alone etc etc and even punches the wall ● Then Dokyung acts all concerned about his hand ● MC tells him to fck off and walks away. Then blonde has a whole conversation with Dokyung about the same thing "you like him" blah blah "you should follow him before it's too late. if you're not interested is it okay if I pursue him?" basically trying to get Dokyung to realize his own feelings, playing cupid when nobody asked ● Dokyung follows MC and they get in another argument ● MC even asks him, "do you like me?" and the fcker says "No. let's make a bet". I didn't understand it well but I think its something about whoever falls first loses?! and ofc MC accepts the bet talk about being manipulated so easily! . . . some other important bits: ● Blonde, Dokyung and Minyoung (the black haired) sesm to be childhood friends. ● Blonde and Minyoung had a physical relationship ● M tries to get clarity on what they mean to each other cuz he's about to get married, and blonde tells him something like, "you don't like me. you just feel sorry for me". ● Blonde was r@ped and abused by his adoptive father who was also a drug dealer/broker. doesn't know who his biological parents are ● someone is after Dokyung (possiblely from the drug ring he just busted) and Minyoung gets killed, right before he tries to tell blonde about his feelings ● MC is shocked by Dokyung's lack of grieve/expressions so he feels bad for him?! and invited him over for a pity fuck to comfort him ● the next day Dokyung tells MC nothing good is gonna come out of getting mixed up with him, and suggests stopping the bet and admits his loss. ● MC then demands that he becomes his lover since the winner gets one wish granted I couldn't tell if he's trying to get revenge, or just simply can't get over this guy In short, MC is a fcking disappointment. Easily manipulated and so easy to provoke. acts like a love-sick teenager instead of being a level-headed cop and per the usual trope, we're supposed to excuse Dokyung's actions and behavior because he grew up in an orphanaged and didn't receive enough love as a child?!??

Legend says that fated lovers are bound together by an invisible red thread. Most people think it's superstition, but seventeen-year-old Chiyako knows better -- she can see them! Yearning to be an independent adult, she's struggling to earn enough money to move out of her parents' house. Her path is clear, until a chance encounter with a mysterious group of hot guys known as the Tyers shows her that she has the power to pull all of fate's strings...though doing so binds her into the form of a child! Akeo's feelings for Chiko turn from "guardian" to romantic. I felt like there wasn't any transition between the two. I also feel that it's kind of weird that he develops romantic feelings towards someone he's been watching over (as an adult) since they were a small child - and I'm usually all for age-gap romances. To me, he seems more like a father/guardian figure rather than a love interest from his side at least.
