I've put off reading this because I know it's received heat for a shota storyline, but since it also has great reviews around the world-building and the rest of the plot I wanted to give it a read to see what's up for myself.

There's an anime for this and if you want a good mix of adventure, comedy and magic, then this is for you. It's really well balanced amongst all the elements and it should have been more popular.

Came here after watching the first 4 episodes of the anime.
