『Fangtasia』's manga / #fantasy(232)

I came here after watching the two seasons of the anime. Hope there's a new season soon too. The anime is not based on Manga but Light Novel Version. That's why the animation style is not same as Manga but accurate as LN illustration of Lord Shadow. The Eminence in Shadow got Anime adaptation because of the Light Novel and not Manga version. The reason why you see there are differences between Anime and Manga because it cover mostly from Light Novel. So far, the season is up to Volume 3. From Volume 4 and onwards, the Light Novel will differ from it's Web Novel version. In LN, Cid was adaptational heroism where he maintains his idiot hero persona while in WN, his actions during the Great Trading Company received many criticisms from Readers. Thus, it is unsure which Direction, Manga will take on. Latest Volume is 7 in Japan. I read up to Vol 6 (Jack Ripper Arc).

This is one of the manga that you don't expect much when you start reading it, but as you keep reading from chapter to chapter, you realize its a really well-written piece. It shows a general third perspective idea for the first chapter and after that we see each of their perspectives (our main two male leads) and the chapters have a good balance between past and future, and blend-in well together. ''Words are a curse.'' The whole manga revolves around that sentence and shows how much powerful words can be. Whether it be in families where children get hurt by their parents fights or with friends not hurting each other. [spoiler] Tatsumi made Kazushi forget everything with his power and thus left from Kazushi's side, but Kazushi never forgot and he kept loving him, though Tatsumi didn't know that. So when they met again, Tatsumi acted like he didn't know Kazushi, and Kazushi acted like Tatsumi's power had worked and he had forgotten everything. Glad it worked out in the end, because [/spoiler] both didn't want to hurt or lose one another so they did what they did. It's a sweet, pure love story. And I hope more people will read it.

FANTASY OBSESSIVE SEME REVENGE LOVE-HATE RELATIONSHIP

It's worth reading it just for the side stories where we can see the kid arc. Why is no one talking about the fact the seme forcefully impregnated the uke and tried to forcefully abort it. Even ignoring that the story is mid and their relationship is frankly not that interesting. The blood demon/martial arts in the story is barely touched upon.
