Love Me Dramatically

Complete | Chaegu , Chaegoo | 2019 released

I never knew I needed a soap opera roleplay until today. I have been satisfied of a desire that I didn’t even know existed. that was so hot. To hot. The art style is absolutely GOD TIER, and I’m in LOVE with this story. I need to see the top bottom tho

Torokeru Chouai Celluloid

Complete | Suji | 2018 released

This one was amazingggg. I actually (surprisingly) haven’t seen a ship where one of the characters are a foreign prince, so this was a fun surprise. I personally love the “emotionless robot” trope, so I was also happy to see that. I think the story is well paced, and their relationship progressed naturally. The art style is amazing, I mean, those backgrounds :0 also, we have to protect the uke at all costs, and the seme is so handsome like- fjekncjdskdic

Monetary Love

Complete | Sakurai Nanako | 2000 released

This was fine. It was quite average on the yaoi scale, but at least I was entertained. I very much enjoyed the seme’s face, it was quite lovely

Banana Fish dj - Fallin

Complete | Potsunen | 2000 released

Banana Fish spoilers ahead: Ok. So I’ve seen many people debating this comic. A lot of people are making the argument that Eiji and Ash were in a purely asexual relationship, and since Ash was raped and scarred, so he shouldn’t be shown in a sexual relationship. While I do agree that their relationship was purely asexual before Ash’s death, I do believe that can change. If in fact, this story takes place in a world where Ash did not die, and this is in the far future, I do believe this would make sense. If you have seen the interviews with the author of Banana Fish, you will see that she has stated that if Ash hadn’t died, if would’ve taken a long time, but their relationship would eventually become sexual. I am perfectly fine with this story happening in the far future, after Ash has had sometime to heal from all his trauma. I personally do not have a problem with this Doujinshi. I think it was quite adorable, and I don’t think their relationship was very sexualized. Sure, they had sex, but it was put more into a comedic light and was very innocent. Also, the sex was very consensual, and was completely agreed upon by both parties. I would’ve had a problem with this, if it was sexualizing Ash’s past rape experiences. This was just an adorable comic, that showed Ash and Eiji living happy, healthy lives, in a future where they both fully healed from their scars. Edit 1: Also, I forgot to mention: Rape victims should not be defined by their trauma. It has been CONFIRMED by the author themself that Ash enjoyed consensual sex, and had plenty of it in his teen years. He also did enjoy being on the receiving end, so don’t try to make this about that. He might have gone through horrible trauma, but Ash still has the right to enjoy consensual sex and pleasure, when he wants to, no matter his past.

Prescription for a Lonely Boy Who Wants Love

Complete | Long Utsumi | 2019 released

So, let’s talk about this one. This story was interesting. I never expected to have a mix of a sex-addicted-mentally-ill doctor , and a narcissistic-trust-issue-filled playboy. It’s an interesting mix of tropes I’ll give it that. Honestly, from the first chapter, I could legit tell immediately that this relationship was gonna be messy. And surprise surprise!! It was. This was a whole up and down adventure, with a dash of smut and wholesome. I personally think the sex addict trope is a good writing plot, even if some people think it’s a way to just add more sex into a story. Honestly, it’s a real mental illness, and when used well in a story, it’s a very good plot tool. I think that this story used this plot device to its fullest potential. So good on the author for making a well written yaoi. I do have to mention the rape scene between the seme and uke. I personally understand why the author added that scene. They wanted an easy way to create tension between the two characters, so they took the easy way out and used the rape trope. That scene was not necessary in the slightest. There are other, more creative ways to create conflict. The easy way out is not always the best way, especially since it involved sexual assault. Thanks for listening to my TedTalk.

Ore to Kacho no Shujukankei

Complete | YOSHIO Akira | 2019 released

Story 1: pretty decent. I wish it was more kinky, since the seme is an M. Can’t tell if the uke is a S or not, but he seems pretty sadistic. I think they had an “interesting” relationship. I’m kinda sad they never fell in love or confessed to eachother, but they’re happy, so that’s cool. Story 2: THIS WAS THE SHIT BRO. I lovedddd this one! The uke is the most accepting man on the face of this earth. HE LEGIT DIDNT EVEN GIVE A SHIT THAT HIS GIRLFRIEND TURNED OUT TO BE A GUY. WHAT A TROOPER. The seme and uke are sooooo cute together, and they’re so healthy. (Also we’re just gonna ignore theyre minor and adult :D)

Does the Carpet Match the Drapes?

Complete | Obana Koko | 2000 released

Ya, I don’t really like this. It’s got a very “sexual assault” undertone. So like, stop?
