I feel like the author did bad by the knight. He really came off as the male lead for most of the story and then even in the end they give him the sacrifice every thing for the female lead ending which was plain sad. I felt more for his story than the main couples. It felt slightly forced. If the author showed more of there relationship and less of the knights that might have changed.
