It's interesting how the girl's manipulative tactics produced a serieis of serial killing guys who would do anything for her out of love only to make them fight against each other. It's like the UFC got too boring for her so she decided to make herself the trophy and bring the game to her. Ok now that I finished the manga, I've gotta say I like it a tiny bit better now. The issues I had were that the writing was too simple, sporatic, cliche and lacked depth. Characters were introduced with little to no context only to disappear in a few chapters when their impact was much larger than the author gave them credit for. I would've understood quick writing a little more if it had to be done in 3 columes or something but it's clear the writer could've continued with more chapters to explain just chose not to. The beginning was rough for this reason, it was hard to characterize anyone let alone judge their dubious actions that came afterward. I liked seeing the girl I hated descend into madness and know that the nice guy ended up choosing to turn himself in because he's not a pussy. They obviously impacted each other because she chose to continue living alone and they both accepted their fate. This is why the ending made the story better because if they really were to have just died together and ended the story it wouldn't have shown any character development, given any worth to the journey, or gave them the opurtunity to actually choose their fate. It's clear no one actually forced him to admit to his crimes or her to continue living, they chose that after chapters long worth of debate over love and life, which was the best writing the story had to offer. The mob boss type guy at the end was unecessary and certain characters were named and given an unecessary spotlight (ex. Mei) that complicated the story and took away value from the mc's perspectives (which were the exact same, so repetition was unecessary). Anyways I'll admit I continued reading cuz I wanted to see how the clean guy would do with all the murder and the art was really pretty. Surprised the girl admitted to everything (not being a goddess, wanting to be loved); the characters had amazing emotional maturity that I'm glad wasnt just "implied" (lazy writing).

52 Reading this for the plot I don't even understand cuz I stopped reading it in the middle and forgot what exactly happened is crazy.

the 5 stars is only for the smut I cannot believe the ending is literally just "mc got stockholm syndrome and traumatized young man believes he found true love" fucking shit story

BRO THE ENDING that was really fucking good I don't usually read mystery but the overshadow of mystery in this despite being the all knowing reader was well done. I thought it was going to be a basic slightly handsome guy gets bitches and kills people but nope that was just the start of it. This is getting intense holy shit

Ok yes but also no but yes? But no yk like dumb but smart but nor smart just hidden and time skips and comvenience but also satisfying a little but also plot and luck and coincidence yk?? But rlly good read I enjoyed it cuz I I think anyone into this genre gets the feeling of absolute nihilism resulting in the death and destruction of all into a new ideal world that is only possible in theory and impossible to be applied to reality because of the simple fundamental truth that everything has its consequences. There is no linear thinking or actions executable, only a web a few people were lucky enough to travel across and survive.

It's a continuation of Massacre Happy End but it's just the beginning of something. Ch.4 is the last update and I can't really see it going anywhere much but based off the title I'm hoping the author somehow makes it a slightly happy ending just to be different from the first in a way yk. Idk im sad and the only thing thats making me happy rn is this grandma speaking to her kids and grandkids in englihs even though its all their second language :> she keeps repeating i miss u so much in her accent its adorable and now i miss my people

137 Randomly chose to read this off the cover when I saw the mc on mudae, over 100 chps later here I am...I read the chps so fast I can't believe it myself but I think I like this manga so much cuz it reminds me of Massacre Happy End generally. There's not any real, tangible way I concluded that, besides the mc's love for their little sibling. The grandpa is the goat and it's not too gory, just the right amount to make you feel his rage intensely.

52 me, a weeb: omg I know what tomodachi means I must be fluent in Japanese I can't believe I read this a while ago, I rememeber reading it and thinking it was a great story so great that I remembered it as an anime in my memory that's weird but I guess time to reread Every time I think I can place a guess on what's gonna happen, that's just it: a guess. I can never say for certain so yuichi's tactics always impress me. It also suprises me how shamelessly the side characters act at times but that's even better because yuichi goes in his insane mode <3 yes I simp for this crazy man I mean come on he's like a yandere for his friends. Now that I'm deeper into the story I sometimes think that an arc's ending/explanation is gonna make me mad like "that's a reach" but NOPE every ending has left me satisfied and made me learn more about the main character! Like now that you mention it, his plans are getting crazier to show his morals and thinking. Does he really value friendship or is he just testing it's validity? Sorta like that after the dominoes thing.

92 It's kinda corny at times because it's really obvious when the author pulls a shounen move but it's honestly got me hooked cuz that's why I started reading. I never particularly needed a really good power up scene for example, so ig him being "exposed" as the apathetic, manic mc equally works just as well for the "level-up" trope. I just generally like the games and the fantasy world. It's easy to read and I'm actually a fan of the main cast. Everyone who I thought was annoying ended up being shooed off rlly soon or barely has any screen-time so I think the author is self-aware. WHAATEEVERRRRRRRRRRRRE UGGGHHHH I JUST WANT IT TO END BUT I KEEP READING CUZ ITS SLOP.AND I LOVE SLOP there's way too much fanservice, mc is almost always cringe/unrelateable, queer baiting to the max, brocon, child getting spanked panel??, just red flag after red flag after RED FLAG THIS I SSLOOPPPP
