That's one heck of a surprising ending! I am shookt because how could they be a part till the end. But I got spoiled in the comments and I guess it was a happy ending for them. This story was suspenseful from the start that I don't even know what to expect on the next chapters. And although the ending was kinda rushed, I was still glad it wasn't a prolonged agony to these characters.

The way Ichika easily forgives and accepts Onodera after knowing Ichika is gay means he is still very much in love with his best friend. It's sad how much he's pined for his bestfriend and and knowing the fact that they can never be hurts a lot. But I also feel like Onodera rushed his feelings towards loving him in a deeper way when he's not like that? idk, I would've loved a more developed relationship between them too see how much they are perfect for each other. I've read this kind of stuff before but I still never get used to the cliche plot of best friends to lover.
