I love this so much even if there are a few loose ends. The amount of courage displayed here balanced the tragic realities we hope to confront ourselves. Prejudices and discrimination are difficult to erase but this tries to battle them as individuals. It’s not as idealized or shown through rosy-tinted lenses. Kenji and Yu battled them out in ways that they are able. For a boy who has never felt loved and treasured, Kenji feared to be betrayed by Yu’s kindness and his own yearning to depend on someone else. And Yu, who gains Kenji’s trust slowly without asserting himself like a hero I often see are portrayed on stories like this. Yu looks for allies to help him make his desire to help Kenji a reality. It’s not the sort of impulsive dreamy-eyed willfulness to pull someone away from their problem. He puts into consideration what might happen next and Yu’s patience never ran out. It’s understandable if it was for pity and the sort to make himself feel good, but it went beyond that. Thank you for creating this!

Then, Allen doesn't even make use of his as a bulletshield and proposed to be lovers. Noah can't get his head around it but falls slowly for him nonetheless. (the quiet panel strip whenever Noah kisses back is so WHOLESOME and ADORABLE! They're my favorite ️

Kawai and Ohara are in an undefined relationship of "I love you more than you think". While Ohara thinks of himself as a lost cause, Kawai wants to prove that his love is more real than Ohara thinks. And so, just like their first planetarium, these two are about to redefine their relationship.

It's funny how the author wasn't aware of the "twisted" or "dark" themes of their own story (which is actually relateable). The essence of name and identity is a core element here that's why names will be redundant to a point of it being impossible to forget their names after reading. We have an abused child who has nowhere to go and an orphaned boy who found his dead brother in him. Together, they will have to settle their past and face reality.

Imagine setting up a cliche trope then breaking it with this realistic honesty... The type that you can tremble and feel all weak but still say the words you've been wanting to say. It's the sort to show how much you can really love someone to the point of facing your fears in front of someone who bluntly rejected you...because this time, you want to fight for someone you love and for yourself, too.
