Holy shit this was awesome! I was getting bored midway because it was stagnant but the author had bugger plans and tied the loose ends. I can curse all I want just to show how raw my amazement and love for this. However, I was also blinded by the journey that I forgot about its destination. This is the best manhwa find ever!

Ming qi, Shi yi, and Bai ming came from one orphanage. Ming qi was always too nice and taken advantage of. Shi yi was unapproachable, but softhearted. Bai ming was a bully, envious yet becomes an irreplaceable friend. The three may have been adopted separately, but they remain close and understanding of each other's burden. A friendship that exceeds blood relations. [Thought provoking. Heartwarming.]

It's a complicated relationship between Yuzuro and Koutaro. They've met once before, yet Yuzuro's imposed duty to care for his older brother caused him to push Koutaro away. Years after, the two meets again in high school. But this time, the older brother gets to meet Koutaro and Koutaro begins to understand why Yuzuro acts the way he does. On top of that, Koutaro and Yuzuro are about to fulfill the promise they both thought were null and forgotten. [Complicated. Intriguing.]

Toki took on the role of being his orphaned nephew's guardian. However, before he could do that, he had to persuade his parents into doing so and have them enjoy the tickets they've won to go around the world. With the help of Chihiro, a 20 year old guy, whom Toki was acquainted to 5 years ago. During the struggle of getting to know Appi, his nephew, Chihiro also confesses to him again, a promise he made 5 years ago. Toki distance himself and tried to take on his role alone but wasn't able to. In the end, he had to compromise and have Chihiro help him, postponing his response to Chihiro's confession. Their domestic life is wholesome and heartwarming. And just when they were at the end of their house-play, Appi was able to call out to Toki, breaking his one year silence. Along with their happy separation, Toki also confronts Chihiro's confession.

Jang mi and Guk Hwa met at the most inconvenient and dramatic time. Guk Hwa's boyfriend for 4 years tried to cheat on her through Jang mi which caused their break up. However, Guk Hwa was more troubled that Jang Mi was her type and she felt the urge to get to know her more. Moreover, the two of them had strong personalities yet somehow caused their attraction towards each other to be stronger. After being boldly confessed to, Guk Hwa surrendered herself to Jang Mi and the couple were about to confront their past, present, and future together.

totally recommended for actual romantic reference and preference. the main couple has a candid and natural interaction. they have their doubts and insecurities. but they also have their desires and honest speeches. i love the slice of life feel to it. the one shot couple, which is actually a story for the main couple's bottom's ex, is more cinematic and poetic in a sense of atmosphere. it's a love poem-like feel that you could listen to while the rain pitter patter outside, slightly muffled by the warm atmosphere of your room.

an insecure and traumatized softie in a body of a stereotypically manly man. a sex lover sex worker who mistakes his client. from intrigue to possessiveness, the sex worker realizes his feelings. from admiration to affection, the timid employee realizes his feelings as well. although the confession occured in a rape situation, it also resolved the situation since the offender apologized and the offended accepted such apology. besides, the two ended up being a good influence on each other.

Hyuk is a rich runaway who is pressued to be in the medical field. Amidst his medical genius, his aspiration as a novelist urges him to be independent and prove to his father that he chose the right path. During his rebellious independence, he stumbles upon a problematic delinquent named Binu. Not only was he a problematic student at Hyuk's friend's school, he turns out to be Hyuk's landlord. And in order to keep himself financially independent, he was offered by his friend to be a fellow teacher at school. His prolonged stay and constant friction with Binu leads to numerous interesting and troublesome circumstances. Not only from Binu's circle, but also from Hyuk's hospital ties. Nonetheless, the common filial struggle between the characters manifest itself in different ways. Hyuk with his father's expectations, Binu with his father's crime and downfall, and the antagonist with his own twisted paternal situation. Yes, daddy issues for the two main lead and the main antagonist. As much as there is a romantic tension between them, the story ends with a love-hate friendship which leaves the possibilities to the reader's mind.

Yuu and Keigo have been lovers for 10 years. Same sex marriage is still up for debate and while partnership among same sex partners are being made available, it remains to be difficult for actual partners to be open with their relationship. Yuu, for example, has already been abandoned by his parents when he admitted being lovers with Keigo. On the other hand, Keigo has yet to tell his mom and grandmother, fearing that it would ruin the loving and welcoming atmosphere they've already established with Yuu. In an attempt to take their relationship further, Keigo brings up marriage or at least partnership. Yuu rejected him and the growing friction that came from discrimination led to a fight and Yuu's confession of being abandoned. When they separated, not really break up, Keigo thought more about their relationship and the extra steps he has to take to assure Yuu that he is in the same boat as he is.
