Very porny and sex-for-sex-sake but still a lighthearted and entertaining read. Don't expect romance or amazing dialogue.

DNF @vol 3 pg114. Not the worst read but wasn't engaging enough for me to continue reading. I also didn't enjoy reading about the main characters (seme's treatment of uke - like a pet dog) and prefer my couples to have enough mutual respect for each other to consider it romantic. Just my personal preference. The other side stories were ok but not amazing.

4.5 stars. Not normally the type of romance I enjoy as the seme isn't as romantic as I would like but this series is so addictive! Love it!

3.5 stars. I had high expectations for the main story but it fell a little flat. Maybe the dialogue wasn't properly translated and took a lot of the romance out, but I just didn't get the feels. I had much more hopes for the separate, spinoff story (ch 5 & 6) but that fell a little flat too. Still, 3.5 stars for potential.

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There was only 1 glossed over "rapey" scene with first couple that was played out as possessiveness but was still rape. 1st couple was a story about Stockholm syndrome vs poverty and disguised as love. 2nd couple was about seme sleeping with many girls to get uke to admit to love. As much as I hate to admit it, I didn't hate both stories which is testament to the mangaka's skills.

I genuinely don't know how to rate this. Wtf did I read? I think before reading this, I was hoping for a twisted step relation read but got this instead. So I hated the whole premise and gist of this short read but for the life of me, I was so entertained and intrigued that if it were longer and more twisted, I would have continued reading cos that's how good this author is. Will try not to read these types of messed up stories again but I honestly gotta rate this authors skills.
