K's secret
More like 4.5 stars; some points of reality seemed nonexistent (didn’t address skipping work as much, no explanation of vampire doc’s now-fugitive lifestyle, etc) and some plot points seemed...unfinished. Nux’s blood’s abilities & effects were constantly added onto but the details were never explained or even reiterated in depth, it was just a magical power that was tactlessly packed with plot armour lmaooooo. Another major issue: the seme is really,,,psychopathic? Like the story romanticizes the weirdest sht lmao, seme goes “amma threaten your job if u don’t date me” & “stay by my side even if u hate me” (?????) & “I fell in love with you cuz I never saw you happy; I only saw your depressed sides” (???????? Like i guess that could be ok? But will u even like them for their happy sides when they start being happy with you?? Yikes maybe?). Anyways the angst with the mc is really prolonged and nice so that’s gucci, without those guilty pleasure elements I think the story’s planning would be ~3 stars. It’s too bad it deviated from the humour from the initial chapters and never came back to it :(

Hold Me Tight
Really good slow development of characters and plot! No weird loopholes, reasonable and realistic dialogue, though some points were a little questionable or inconsistent (the over possessiveness of Gio, the reasons behind Gio pushing away Felix but then sticking to him again for “protection”, etc.). Great conflicts (nothing new and unique, but still nice to read) and reeeeeeally nice trauma-related guilty pleasure reads huheuehuhuehhuheuheh Enjoyable read overall, a pretty agreeable 5 stars Edit: aight I’m here after a second wave of updates for the second season and HYPE HYPE THE SEME IS SO CONSIDERATE AND KIND AND CUTE THIS IS MORE THAN AN AGREEABLE 5 STARS WEEOOOWEEOOO
Decision
3.5; pretty interesting characters and I loved the peacefully chaotic dynamic (I love those psychopaths type of stuff). It’s just...I couldn’t get a firm grasp on the characterization so I couldn’t really get into it, the “emotional attachment”-related stuff felt really superficial (I guess since it’s “+psychopath” it makes sense? It feels like bad writing rather than deliberate convolutedness tho, idk)
