Typical thrills, conflict, pacing, etc…BUT IT’S AWESOME HEHHEE AND THE ART’S SO HOT Main fave part: how dedicated they are to each other (to the point of dying); it’s super possessive and technically toxic but considering their backgrounds this is probs the. Eat they could ever get (and it works for them too!)

THE AUTHOR ENDED THE MANGA WITH VICTIM-BLAMING WTF. ZERO INDICATION OF UKE’S FEELINGS OF GUILT BEING WRONGLY DIRECTED AT HIMSELF, THE ROOT CAUSE AND WHOLE CULPRIT IS THE RAPIST Ok uh, so the beginning-to-near-end was really good, I loved the angsty parts and bookmarked my fav chapters, but…wtf was that ending? The uke was too stupid to realize that he wasn’t the “killer” of his stepmom, he was just cornered and attempted to confide in someone trustworthy as a last-ditch effort to survive…and I guess he didn’t tell his 3-year therapist about his killer guilt cuz he never realized that the ROOT CAUSE OF ALL THIS SHIT IS THE FUCKING RAPIST!? If the therapist heard of this, he wojld’vd told the uke straight up thay the guilt was unfounded and uke should NOT be held responsible for stepmom’s death Of course the rapist wouldn’t admit to being the root cause of it all and correcting the uke cuz who tf cares about the uke’s feelings, eh? As long as the rapist gets his dick wet with the uke he doesn’t give a shit Now, I wojldn’t be so pissed about this ending if the author actually addressed this unfairness. As it was, it all came out of left field and it felt like the author truly believed thay uke = indirect killer of stepmom. Like NO BITCH, IT WAS THE RAPIST’S FAULT, WTF? The author NEVER mentions that fact via other characters (*cough*therapist*cough*) and just left it as is. Bitch, at LEAST draw the ending in a way that doesn’t look so fucking romanticized and sparkly and shit. At LEAST portray the uke lookin’ truly broken that he is while WRONGLY believing that he was a criminal, that he’s a trash that deserves to be with someone as filthy as the rapist, that he’s suffering Stockholm Syndrome, etc.. I loved the angst but ngl, it felt a TINY bit superficial lol it was a little hard to immerse myself (still made good bookmarks tho, just have to do a bit of mental gymnastics to get into it). Maybe it’s cuz of the slightly cliche setting that wasn’t too…unique? Near the end got a bit confusing, and I’m not sure how realistic it is to get over everything like that lmaoooooo but I guess he author wanted to end the series real quick. It was an aesthetically mature way to resolve the conflicts (if not a little cliche) but it okkkkk
