The art, the setting, the plot—this is topnotch! It was amazing but if I can really be honest, I was just frustrated how things were going on with Ray. I was so sad for Ian for going through such hell especially the first arc with those awful Bardi family. I carried that heaviness along as I unveiled the story until the end and it was sooo hard for me to understand Ray’s reasoning as a result. Nicholas is my best boi in this story!!! He’s the real sunshine and the real man right there! Such a very good friend and such a delicate yet smart character. This is probably one of the bast historical-drama yaoi story I have read but it’s not something that I will return myself into in the future. Thank you to the author for a good read!
