Wow that was actually a real good story. Who woulda thought smut would have good content my gosh. I’d totally re-read. Kinda wish it had more. One thing I didn’t like is that rin accepted going out with that girl, but I’m glad he broke it off quickly and realized his feelings without things dragging for 100 years (like every mainstream generic manga ever). Good to see them get together without too much drama

Impressive for a smut yaoi omg. This was a good one. Unlike other “sex friends to lovers” tropes, this one had a good transition that properly portrayed the uke’s insecurities (without meaningless running away and dumb assumptions.) the uke’s feelings were understandable, seeing how it started off in a non-serious relationship, ofc he’d have his own doubts that it could turn into something real. It’s understandable that he didn’t want to get his hopes too high for fear of getting his feelings hurt. But once the seme fell for him, I’m glad he accepted his feelings, instead of running away and not believing the seme’s confession (like the stupid uke’s do in majority of this trope, denying the person’s feelings and saying it must be his imagination, then running away without even listening to reason). Anyways, I also like that seme. He tried not to give the uke false hope, and also didn’t act like an asshole The whole way through. He even accepted his own feelings for the uke without too much resistance and denial. He treats uke gently, is patient with him, understands his insecurities, and without getting irritated or walking on eggshells, reassured him that yes, he does love him, and not to worry. This is the type of seme all asshole semes should look at and follow his example. Such amazing boyfriend material. We love a seme who is sweet, caring, patient, and assures his uke. Overall, quite an amazing story, despite being filled with smut. It even got me thinking that the smut scenes were meaningful, and I don’t usually think that with smut scenes (I usually get dead fish eyes and wonder when it’s going to end. Very rarely do I like the sex scenes). Oh yeah. Also, the uke is so cute. Like the seme said in the last chapter, how could u not love such a cute guy?

I was gonna give this to 5 stars but retracted it back to 4 stars after the first sex scene. Right after the freckin discovery (that akira was not mamoru). It would have been better to make this manga a bit longer instead of jumping straight to sex. Like, u just escaped from the illusion that he isn’t a brother but actually a stranger that’s been living with u this whole time, and ur going to suddenly kiss and have sex with him? Without any reservations? This would have been a heck of a lot better if that part was better paced. That’s the thing that almost ruined what was otherwise a masterpiece of a story. The dark emotions and deep trauma in this were really well portrayed. Even I shed some tears. Their characters and backgrounds were so well developed, and the story was just so very well written man. When kaoru finally accepted his brother’s death (particularly the scene where he put out the incense and pictures) I was so moved I even shed some tears bro. Plus seeing akira’s past and his shit mother hurt my kokoro. This story is amazing and well written in s many ways, that’s why I was so disappointed by that sudden sex scene that came out of nowhere. It’s like it was put there just for the sake of making this a yaoi manga instead of a shounen ai tragedy slice of life. It wouldn’t have been so out of place if it happened a few chapters later, after kaoru had a little more time to accept reality and who was in front of him (akira). Anyways, I’ll still give it 4 stars since it was such an amazing story.

Omygosh this is one amazing manhua~ top of my fav list now brogo~! Reading this just gives u feel good vibes. So healing~ something u read after reading (or watching?) something heavy, disappointing, or just to brighten up your mood. Amazing

Started off rough but turned out cute. Wish I could’ve seen more of their relationship. We really only got a little peek of it. It’d be nice if it continued, even with just one more chapter, and showed their relationship, instead of chara info and backstories. Those were nice, but I want to see more of the couple.

Don’t take 100 chapters to accept that, yes, this is no longer the book, things won’t go as I know it. Also, plz hurry up and get it outa your head that the emperor will send u to jail. Isn’t it obvious that he loves u? He said so multiple times omg I can’t with dense characters.

The fl is real mvp, such an amazing actress lolol and the ml’s evil schemes are so frickin extra lmaooo I canttttt those two are just too funny man. My throat hurts from all the laughing. Ugh nooooo I’m not satisfied TvT I want mooore dammit! Agh shounen ai like this. Really cute. Really cute, yes. But dammit man I wanted to see more of their couple moments _:(´ཀ`」 ∠): anyways good read. Nice balance of cute, plot, and drama(?) even though it was short. U could even sympathize with the characters even in those few chapters. Well developed story. I just wish i could see more of their couple interactions (*´-`) I wouldn’t mind a season 2~ (Hint hint author hint hint).

Broooo this is a freckin masterpiece

Got damn that was so heartrending omg. The amount of tears I shed for this manwha. What a rollercoaster of emotion. This is probs the second time I’ve felt this way about a manga. Jihyun that guy. I felt real bad for him, yes. Especially so after he was jailed for a murder that he didn’t commit and nobody believed him. But he needs to take responsibility for his actions. The way he was so... desperate? Attached? To choowa (freck how come I forgot the ml’s name already???) and his facial expression of hurt and all that shit. Lawd man I really felt bad for the guy. I kinda just wanted him to be happy. But friend. How did you expect everything to work out if you didn’t change your ways? What you feel for him? Ofc, there’s some love in there, but this is called obsession. You can’t keep hurting him, isolating him, and doing bad shet to the ppl who approach him, and expect that everything will always turn out fine. He’s human too, he’s not always gonna forgive you. You can’t just take advantage of his kindness like that. And then you go ahead and rape him? Nah man that’s not how we do things around here. As much as I’d like to see a scenario where the two of you are happy together, if you started going out, there wouldn’t be a happy ending. That’s just a toxic and unhealthy relationship. Neither of you would be happy. He’d be scared of your ticking time bomb personality, anxious about when you’d next explode. You’d be forever displeased about him being close to anyone other than you, or him showing even the slightest sign of not paying attention to you. That’s not good for any of you bro. You had to have realized what you were doing wrong sooner or later. I wish jinhyun can find happiness, even after all he did. Hopefully he can find someone who loves him just as much as he loves them, and they can have a healthy relationship, with him turning over a new leaf. Thankfully, after he had that final talk with chiwoo, he finally realized his mistakes and repented. Truly heartrending, that last farewell was. But please, be happy. Hopefully you’ll be able to forget about our dearest chiwoo and move on. There’s just no way you two could be together after what you did. Still honestly, I wouldn’t have been happy either if jihyun got away scot free after what he did. What’s happening to him is redemption. I still hope he can be happy though. Just not with chiwoo. Anyways, I, glad kihwon (freck I forgot his name too lmaoo) was there for chiwoo, and helped him heal. He’s a better fit for our little Cinnabon. I’m just glad that chiwoo was also finally able to move on, even a little, and not have to live in the past, because of his trauma from jihyun. I just want everyone to be happy man T_T anyways. Masterpiece of a story. 100/10. Kept me hooked from start to finish. Now time to read part 2
