Liked the 1st. Wasn't satisfied with the 2nd. I think if the chapters were longer, I would've accepted his "sweet declaration" in the end. After all, it's a start that he refused to kiss Mibu after Minato professed his love... I also liked that he confronted Minato immediately when Minato was being tolerant of his flashy behavior. It's easy to think that he'd probably cheat on Minato, too, because even when he was with his ex-gf, he easily went after Minato out of curiosity.. So, you know, it's logical to think that when someone "interesting" catches his eyes, he'd most likely cheat again. So yeah, I really appreciated that confrontation because it showed how he wanted to seriously take on their relationship. It somehow eased my irritation of that scene when he nonchalantly kissed his gf after sleeping with Minato. Well, it's not like he's the only one to blame because Minato knew (and saw) that the seme has a gf yet he still went along his whims. It's just really a disrespectful scene. It's nice that Minato immediately took the courage to confess, but it was too easy.. Meh, well, to each his own. If he's happy and content with that, then who am I to oppose? Hmph!

Reread: 02/04/17 Changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I guess I just read too many annoying manga that I'm appreciating this fluff better. I super like that there was no love triangle or cheating. The main hurdle was overcoming how people would see them, esp. Nonokawa. This is pretty basic for homosexuals in the society, so yeah. I liked that the seme was super devoted and the uke's really sexy and not too girly. I guess the 12 years thing kind of bothered me 'cos I think it's too much, but imagining myself in Nono's shoes, I guess he's right about his feelings just like that school -- it only submerged, not disappeared completely.. So when they met again, he could no longer contain these feelings. :)

It's one of my favorite Shoujo manga because even though Kazehaya (main lead) is popular, he's pretty simple and normal unlike other leads who're typically super powerful, rich, or influential.. My only regret is that I really wanted to see their life in college.. Then again, that might've dragged the story down, like introducing more rivals or whatnot. But well, it could've been done in a few chapters at least, just to show that even when they're in LDR, it's not easy to break them apart. Ohhh and yeah, it's a pity for Yano-chin. I was hoping she'd also be successful in her love life.. I was hoping Pin would give it a chance, maybe in the future. Really liked the main story.. Not a fan of the one shot stories though. 1st oneshot: Well, they could be using each other.. Like, the uke knew what he did when he somehow used the seme as replacement for his unrequited love, then the seme intentionally got the uke drunk to get some action again.. 2nd one shot: It's very realistic. Both Asaya and Yuu were worried about being rejected and all the complications when they were students so they didn't confess their feelings.. So when they met again a decade later, feelings re-emerge, but unfortunately, Asaya already had a family and Yuu was living with his girlfriend/fiancee.. Asaya tried to make "them" happen since he could no longer control himself, but thankfully, Yuu got back to reality soon enough and clarified that it's already too late for them since there are more people directly involved if they pursued their "mutual unrequited love" if that makes sense. Ugh. Well, sometimes, love really requires timing.. Too bad for them, but even though I like Shounen Ai/Yaoi so much, I still wouldn't tolerate it if they cheated. Well, I mean, basically, they already did cheat because they made out but I can only be thankful it didn't go further. For others, it may not have been a big deal with the other party being the same sex as their partner who "cheated," but for me, the gender or sexual orientation doesn't really matter. Cheating is still cheating. Forgiving cheating is almost impossible in my case, but of course, that would still depend on the character of my lover. If the good things about him outweigh that mistake and he can swear not to do it again (and if he does, it's over, no questions asked), then go.
