Only realized that this has a manhua adaptation today (10/08/20)... I started reading the novel a few months back, but stopped around ch200 (out of 2000+ ch) .. haha! But so far, I liked the story and the ML coz he respects Tangning a lot... The story does get repetitive in ways that Tangning is always asked by netizens to get out of showbiz, only to adore her next, then scorn her again, then adore her again. lol. Anyway, I kind of put off reading the novel before coz I changed my phone and the app I used was no longer available (I preferred reading offline) so yeah, will probably continue reading it soon. Anyway, as for the manhua, hmm I kind of pictured them better in my imagination. I guess I expected more.. I mean, sure, Mo Ting is handsome here, but not as handsome as what I had in mind, I guess. Haha. Anywayyyyyyy... edit (10/26/20) -- Actually finished the novel!!! Yayyyyyy!!! It was really nice. Well, Mo Ting's truly ideal - you know, too good to be true but you'll still want a wife-doting man like him! Ahhhhhh I really loved it overall. There were a lot of face-slapping moments, but like I previously mentioned, those kind of gotten repetitive.. Like, people already realized how often she's slandered and she even face-slapped them a lot of times, but they still repeat the same cycle. lol. And what do you know. If I'd sum up a single adjective to describe Tangning, it is definitely CONTROVERSIAL. The world revolves around her, duh! Everything she does is a big deal to people. lol. Too many jealous people who don't learn from the others and continually challenge her. Anyway, it's not that I dislike them being overly sweet or inlove (though of course, they'd still fall under insta-love), but that made me appreciate their love more. Though they barely knew each other in the beginning, through mutual respect and understanding, they fell in love harder every time. I really appreciated how there weren't serious third party attempts as well. They're just too in love to entertain anyone else. Also loved how their 3 devils had their stories here, but I wish their stories were longer. I mean c'mon, the main story got almost 2000chapters, so why give each kid (well, they've actually become adults) about 50chapters more or less?? I also appreciate him showing remorse and stopped showing up in front of her for a while after Chi Yan snapped and told him off ('cos he really crossed the line that time for being a lovable overbearing ML). Excited to see more of this. I like it so far because ML may be overbearing, but compared to tons of the overbearing MLs, he's in the milder side (C'mon, lemme just say him being 'pure' and not a womanizer is a definite plus!).
