Ch5.6 reread 5/13/18: I really like it despite the "rape" .. still not justifying it, but it's good how they worked it out and talked. thoughts when first read: Yuni (seme) was raped by Natsuki (uke) on the first chapter.. I know he's too sad and depressed and desperate that ge could no longer control his desires but he should've at least confessed or talked before taking action. Wekl, in his pov, he was sure that he'd be rejected before he can make his move but isn't it ironic that despite gettimg that sex you wanted, uh you aren't happy at all bec you just forced it? Anyway, I understand that he felt broken after Yuni pushed him away after the deed, so he left without a word because he felt guilty... In a way , that's good but leaving things like that almost never work bec the other person will just end up thinking avout you more... But anyway, it was good that after their reencounter in college, they expressed their feelings upfront. The rape still isn't justified though I understand that it's the trigger (hey even a kiss could've triggered his emotions and make him realize his feelings)... I just don't like it when people say "The rape can be overlooked since he ended up falling in love anyway./The rape isn't that bad because it actually helped him realize his feelings./It's not so much of a rape since he liked it towards the end and even cummed." Like, duh. I liked it nonetheless because they settled it neatly and they understood where each of the m was coming from..

Liked the 1st. Wasn't satisfied with the 2nd. I think if the chapters were longer, I would've accepted his "sweet declaration" in the end. After all, it's a start that he refused to kiss Mibu after Minato professed his love... I also liked that he confronted Minato immediately when Minato was being tolerant of his flashy behavior. It's easy to think that he'd probably cheat on Minato, too, because even when he was with his ex-gf, he easily went after Minato out of curiosity.. So, you know, it's logical to think that when someone "interesting" catches his eyes, he'd most likely cheat again. So yeah, I really appreciated that confrontation because it showed how he wanted to seriously take on their relationship. It somehow eased my irritation of that scene when he nonchalantly kissed his gf after sleeping with Minato. Well, it's not like he's the only one to blame because Minato knew (and saw) that the seme has a gf yet he still went along his whims. It's just really a disrespectful scene. It's nice that Minato immediately took the courage to confess, but it was too easy.. Meh, well, to each his own. If he's happy and content with that, then who am I to oppose? Hmph!

As they spent time together, they both liked each other and had sex. Houjo knew Kenichi was a playboy but he didn't think much about it until he actually caught him in the act and Kenichi was nonchalant about it. When Akihito caught Houjo and Kenichi having sex in Kenichi's unit, Houjo felt somehow conscious because Akihito is his subordinate and he used to have a crush on him. After Houjo broke up with Kenichi, he finds himself being attracted to Akihito again. He seems very similar to his brother so he's reminded of Kenichi, and at the same time, he rekindles the crush he used to have on him. It's like, Houjo had a crush on Akihito, but since he and Kenichi hit it off, he set aside those feelings to focus on Kenichi only. I would also like to believe that he really was drunk when he kissed Akihito and called out Kenichi's name. This will somehow be better than faking it just to steal a kiss from Akihito. Well, there's also the fact that Akihito's staight so Houjo probably didn't want to put his hopes on him.. But anyway, I just don't like it when A is in love with B, but doesn't have the courage to admit it so he uses C as a substitute or distraction because he's more approachable/convenient. For ,me, okay, you don't have the courage so you go along with another person... But commit to it. Fully. Wholeheartedly. Don't half-heartedly go out with C while you're still in love with B unless you have the conviction to get over A. Don't do it if you're just in it while you're gathering your courage or waiting until A poses a chance for you to swoop in... That's just cruel. Also, be honest with C. Don't be a j*rk.
