Gintama dj - Kabe
Is there a duplicate on here? I thought I read and rated this one already. Huh. Anyway, this isn't even the worst thing she's done to him, lol. I love Harada, but that woman loves to torture her fave characters. I understand, though. I'm the same way. Regardless, it would have been nice to see Gin return in time to see what he let happen. I'm fine with the hardcore stuff, but I'm really in it for the hurt/comfort, which we don't get here. Boo. I've never seen the anime and only read the doujinshi because Harada is one of my fave mangaka, but I wonder how accurately she depicts these characters, haha.
Kaidan BL
I love the rare occasions when horror/the supernatural is combined with BL. I wish it were more common on a serious level. The most you typically get is crack comedy with ghosts and what not. I want more real drama and horror, like here. The two stories that are out already aren't perfect, but they were intriguing. The first one was more sad than creepy. The second one was undeniably creepy as hell. Even if it wasn't scary in a horror sense, that student's obsession... ugh. Dat painting tho. XD I hope the coming stories are good!
Vocaloid 2 dj - Kitty Kitty Bang Bang with Catboy Len
I don't mind shota in some settings, but the whole "nympho shota" thing has always creeped me out. I know it's all pretend and just fantasy, but it reminds me too much of people who lust after real, human children. To each their own, though. Not trying to kink shame.
Ashita wa Docchi Da!
The more this drags out, the more I hate Ken. I really wish that Kirara would give him the cold shoulder for once. The tsundere thing gets old after a while. Anyway, it's still a cute manga. I hope the other two end up together. They'd be a cute couple. Hope it updates soon, and that the story starts to pick up a bit with the main two.
Kirei ni Shiteyo
Cute little story. Nothing too amazing, but sweet enough. I think with the right writer, an expansion on the story could have made it more interesting. But that's okay. It was quick and sweet.

Whaaaaaaaaaat, I somehow didn't see that coming. XD I should have, all things considered, and Harada's work is always so deliciously fucked up, but I've never seen her play with perspectives like this before. Of course, it wouldn't really be Harada if it weren't terribly twisted, right? Haha, I love her. I can't believe it took me this long to read this one. Twisted as can be, with an ominous, ambiguous ending. So calculating, right to the very end. Harada doesn't pull any punches. She knows her characters are sick and wrong, and the narrative doesn't make any apologies for it. If only more yaoi stuff didn't act like psychotic, abusive behavior could be fixed or forgiven. This was a great read with an ending that satisfied me. I don't know how else it could have possibly concluded without it being a bit irritating. (Though a more violent end to a certain someone would have been nice, but that'd sort of ruin what the story was going for, haha.)
Osomatsu-san Dj - Gomenne, Kaa-san
I'm not familiar with the anime this is based on, which is how I prefer it if I'm gonna read a doujinshi. This was a strange, dark little tale that had potential. There were things I liked, because sick and twisted in the right way is great, but it was sort of canceled out a bit by some of that other weird, yaoi stuff where the blow is softened with bizarre allusions to love or some crap. Rape is rape, bitches. Still, it was intriguing, and the art is pretty. I wish doujinshis weren't oneshots as a rule.
Boku wa Ninkimono
I don't really know what I was reading there. Maybe if I read it again, carefully, I'd pick up more of the intent beyond the basic concept of a sadist feeling weak over a victim's response. Like the first time anyone has ever "accepted" him. The story was too all-over-the-place and rushed to have that impact, though. Also... how his nose was running, and then he put his mouth... ugh... I'm gonna dry heave if I keep thinking about it. EDIT: Oooooh, okay, now that I've read the first part, it all makes sense. I enjoyed the first one a million times more. It was great. This one... I'm really not sure what the mangaka was going for here. It didn't add to the first, just made things more confusing. Meh, whatevz.
See-through
This should be called "Straight Boys and Unrequited Love." That was the theme throughout, but the endings were either happy or open with a sad-ish feel. Nothing was solidly stated. They all end at a crossroads, where a relationship may or may not develop. I love this artist, so I read it, even though I hate straight-gay pairings. The stories were all right, mostly a bit sad, but not nearly as soul-crushing as I was expecting. The comments had me afraid to even read it. But as of chapter 7, things are still relatively light. The longest story had more sad elements, of course, but there could still be more for the guys someday. I know the wish is for the guy who's in love to end up with his straight friend, but I wish more of these stories would end with the friendship continuing in a healthy way, and the guy falling head over heels for someone else who actually loves them back from the start. Why does it always have to be that the straight guy falls for him anyway, or no one gets what they want and everything is sad, the end? There are other options, is all I'm saying. x_x
