Although, I think she does need to get a punishment once she comes back to normal because she was planning to kill everyone, and than hold our mc captived for the rest of his life.

I understand why people don't like the father but it doesn't seem like the mother talked to him about having a child and just made a deal with the devil to have one, while knowing that her life will be taken. I think the father was content with their love, so I don't understand why the mother needed to have a child. Also in the letter it still didn't explain why she needed to have a child.
