Mercenary Enrollment
One of my favorites manhwa of all time, always gets me really hyped. Binged it in a few days and I can't get enough of Ijin handing out beatings like it's candy lmao. I especially like it when he stands up to bullies for other people, like he did for that actress' brother (one of my favorite chapters). Ijin really just wants a normal life with his newfound family, but trouble just keeps finding him constantly, they really don't cut the poor guy any slack. One particular thing I didn't think I'd say about the lead of a manhwa is that I just don't see him in a relationship with any of the potential love interests. It seems that all he wants is a peaceful life with his sister and grandpa and simply does everything possible to protect that. I also love his genuine smile, it shows how much the love of those around him has changed him. Truly a masterpiece of a story.
Sharpe and Rabbit
This is NOT BL. I hate the teacher x student (even former) trope so much you have no idea. There can't be a relationship where there's a power dynamic like this, it's just predatory and creepy. Anyway, I really love the story so far. I really don't want any kind of "romance" between the main characters.
Banana Fish
i'm still not over this manga, 3 years later after having had read it. a heartbreaking masterpiece that left me speechless when i finshed it.
