one of those stories where i was BEGGING the author to end the angst like i was bawling my ass off crying the last few chapters im broken beyond repair this story is pure hurt/no comfort for 30+ chapters/comfort. Like you’ll get that comfort after trudging thru chapters of heart wrenching angst. My eyes are swollen. Its fucking good. Deserves an anime adaptation. Amazing ending that leaves u feeling sad and empty bc u kinda dont want it to end. Good for them. Thank you. This is gonna live in my head rent free for years to come lol. The best //heavy angst// shoujo rofan manhwa ever hands down.

Yeah gonna give my thoughts after all the sides come out bc it was a decent read with a gorgeous art style, its just the pacing for the climax was way too rushed and the facial expressions especially shin’s is way too apathetic, it made certain high emotional scenes feel really lackluster bc he seems so unaffected by it lol. BUT these aside, i do enjoy the pacing for the romance. I think seeing yeonwoo’s reservations in opening up to shin and shin trying to overcome yeonwoos walls were developed rly well. But yeah thats the only upside for it. Had lots of high expectations for this bc in the beginning i ADORE the slow burn, the muted atmosphere and the gorgeous panels/story boarding, the character close ups when they contemplate or interact with anything is so well done, especially the hands omg artist popped off so hard with the hands i love them so much……. it made me excited to see an abo that carried a chill/muted atmosphere, im just disappointed on how the plot developed and how up until the ending, it didnt feel like yeonwoo got justice at all. Shin’s character was really flat and the whole overarching situation of alphas getting away scot free (amplified with how shins friends said if ppl complain about shin whos an awakened alpha, then all alphas are gonna get shit as well and they want to maintain that = nothing was addressed about how shit that is) felt so anticlimatic bc how will yeonwoo get justice for this. It would have felt so liberating if yeonwoo was the one who put the nail in sungkyuns(?) coffin. Heck, i would have felt satisfied if shin atleast acknowledged to kangho that theyre all fucked bc of the same reasons and law loopholes they admire and uphold so much. Their excessive freedom is also their own undoing. And sure in a way i guess that was what happened but i want shin himself to say it!!!! The way his friends delivered it felt so scummy it left a weird taste in my mouth lmao. Bc now it feels like,, shin is like any other alpha who does whatever he wants (in good faith) without considering what yeonwoo wants. Idk it just felt iffy there, and their bonding could def expand more intimately to counter that iffiness but bc there wasnt a scene where they delve deep in each others insecurities/emotions (yeonwoos trauma and shins conflicting feelings at being an awakened alpha) it made everything feel rly flat bc greatness could have happened with this!!!!!!! Its such a shame…….. ☹️☹️ Idk i feel like for creating yeonwoos character whos faced such a traumatic thing, not acknowledge his assaulters demise (no scene of relief that theyre finally gone even) and the alpha system that fucked everyone over isnt addressed in its unfairness (by shin atleast bc hes an alpha!! Whos seen how it fucked over yeonwoo!!) makes me feel .. zero relief and happiness for yeowoo .. it just feels so lackluster like why do i feel wronged in yeonwoos stead LMAO. And PLEASE god i know shin is supposed to be this aloof and cool ml but good lord give the man some facial muscles to give the audience some flavour of an expression other than serving a rbf that frustrated me too at one point lol. Oh well, it started off really promising yet ended quite,,, hm…. Okay i guess ? it was alright…… i hope the sides cover some of the things i wailed about…. I want more emotional, intimate communication between shin and yeonwoo PLEASE i beg… dont fade it to black and give crumbs of that scene in the form of a flashback TTTTT just give me that and i’ll be happy i swear seriously

the simplicity in the art style and fluidity in its pacing,, everything is just so masterfully done, harada is truly goated. The ending/resolution doesnt feel tacky or rushed,, as long as momo finds peace and love in himself and with yata then thats all that matters. His ending with his mom felt just right too. They both deserve to move on TT Its an unconventional love story where things are best left tastefully ambiguous but the certainty in how yatamomo love each other is so sweet and tender TT yata was so understanding with momo’s way of coping and momo’s relapsing but wanting to try and be better and more emotionally open with yata was so touching TTT so much depth and care was put into creating these characters. it really unveiled like a movie, definitely gonna stick with me for a long time. Big 10/10 and kudos to harada! (Cant get enough with how beautiful their linework is GAHHH that madlad,, the sensual intimacy depicted in the way yatamomo’s anatomy interacted with each other… momo’s expressions in their sex scenes,, so cute and pretty TTT love the way he blushes so much aaa ily author)

Oh this is SO good!! This one is for the queers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR ME!!!!!!! Love how the characters are written here, theres these subtle panels of sono Clearly being attracted to yano but hes denying it due to his concern for his mom, poor bub,,,, this is not a bad cliche at all, the author wrote the characters and their reasoning quite well, like they actually have depth and its grounded and solid!!! Seeing sono deny/repress his sexuality and reassuring his mom “im not like him(dad)” is heart breaking bc it hits too close to home sigh TT author writes nuance by portraying the characters’ actions vs thoughts/dialogue SO so well, the pacing was great, the panels were added meticulously and the story telling was wonderful especially with how the author handled sono’s conversation with his mom. The resolution between those two was touching and a situation i could only yearn and dream of, im so happy for sono TTT There were a good handful of scenes that left an impression on me, yano reaching out to sono after the fight, yano’s stair confession and sono’s backhug confession, sono’s tearjerking call with his mom,, It made me BAWL yall like tears were falling from my eyes non stop it was so so good TTT Author fucking DELIVERED these scenes, especially sono’s well written conflict/topic. It wasnt wishy washy or insensitive, it was handled with so much care, u can feel author’s sincerity and understanding regarding it and i just appreciate it so much? Especially with how yano’s written. Yano is so so good to sono and he took the situation in as best as he could. Author draws the most stunning anatomy and is absolutely stellar when incorporating it into intimate/sexual scenes. Its so natural and sexy AH im obsessed. And yoshino is such a natural (unknowing lol) homme fatale, rou is lucky that he got him first bc if i were in the damn manga i would have been on my knees begging for yoshino’s hand in marriage IMMEDIATELY. Hes SO pretty, so elegant and sooooo mature too!!!! SUCH AN EYE CANDY RAHHH!!!!!!!! Big 10/10 just from how yoshino is written/drawn, he is so stunning. Such a beauty. I can go on forever about how pretty and elegant he is AUGHHH but real talk,,,, yoshino deserves better LMAO would have loved if he had gotten a shameless golden retriever ml instead. But oh well! This was such a healing read oh my god, love how their characters are written, it feels like drinking hot chocolate, so soothing and calming and the constant communication between them both was so nice and mature of them. Quite realistic too, theyre both adults and especially with kichi’s age and his worries. A very nice chemistry and dynamic TTT its so simple but wow it brought me so much comfort but also damn it rlly makes me wanna settle down with someone lol the idea of hugging your forever person and be able to confide with them comfortably abt anything is a dream.,,,
