The More I Love Him, The More I Wanna Bully Him. My XL Rival From The Same Year~
As m/f josei smut goes (that I've read) pretty standard.
Omae no Toriko ni Narumonka!
Huh, interesting. Ended up being a lot more straightforward with minimal misunderstanding /miscommunication scenes to drive the plot. Actually quite cute! I wish there was a little more character design up date for Ebi to show the passage of time like Leo got, but whatever.
Sayonara, Itoshi No My Friend
A lot of drama and the story is frontloaded by the younger brother. The older brother and his boyfriend doesn't get quite as much development or explanation. I wish Makoto moved out of his house, or that the parents were contronted, or that Souta got a chance to defend Makoto from the mistreatment somehow. Idk, more than a little unsatisfying is all.
Minegishi-san wants Otsu-kun to eat!
So sloooooooow. Cute, but way too slow for me. Skimmed and dropped.
Tenchou, Koi Desu.
Three couples, 2+2+1 chapters. I liked that the two initial couples! Didn't like the resolution of the last one because of the verbiage (using seme and uke in English) and the obvious foreshadowing that the pov character would 'give in' and end up being the bottom. Otherwise, very cute.
The Honest Life of a Game Studio
This is one of the most adorable manga I've ever read, AND it has a preternaturally apt theme and message for me in particular (re game dev). Straight to the favorites!
Karamawari Weekend
Short and sweet oneshot. Kawanami and Mifune.
Bed no Ue no Tengoku
Meh, good but not great. The best was the high school couple trying to overcome the difficulties of a community that won't accept them, but when they reunite at the end after many years, there's no satisfying resolution! Even a hug would've been enough, it's clear they missed each other.
Koko wa YES to Ittekure
These are so lowkey and drama-less, in a good way! It's nice to read about a relationship just developing naturally with a whole bunch of misunderstandings and contrived obstacles.
Hajimari Wa Naka Kara
