7/8/25 It's not bad, everything just happens so fast. Very smutty, but kinda lacking impact because of the pace.

7/12/25 I like it, but I'm not sure where it's going (if anywhere). Ikeda and Rio aren't living together (yet?) and it might be over with Ch 6 already. Rio being the bottom was unexpected, and that makes it feel more grounded somehow. I like that Miyama's telepathy comes up veeeery subtly, so you wouldn't even know that's how he could tell Ikeda was talking about Rio if you haven't read the first manga. Well, I hope there's more chapters after this one.

7/16/25 Whether I come back and rate this 5 depends on the sequel! I really enjoyed the more grounded story.

7/17/25 noooooo omg this one is so good! Smut on the level of the male holy maiden one. I really hope Shagar gets his magic unsealed. There's some dubcon/noncon in ch6, but the way it's framed is... Unique. Not icky enough to put me off the manga as a whole. 7/27/25 Adding context: Essentially the relationship with the first guy was consensual non-con flavored, and because of that the top doesn't listen to the sorceror when he genuinely says he doesn't want to have sex. Metatextually it's assault, while diegetically its a blurred like between implied/assumed consent and assault. 8/2/25 This is an EXCELLENT collection of mildly spicy shojo one shots. All of them feature a first kiss, and they're drawn in a way that is deeefinitrly more smut adjacent than not. Makes me. wonder why the artist is used to drawing.

8/3/25 This was cute, but in a green flag that's almost beige kind of way It had shades of depth in Ruri's classical violin career (?) but it doesn't really seem to know how serious to take it. There's no exploration of how his family feels about him quitting music, or how it affected his plans for the future, or what his plans even were before he quit. Being a symphony violinist is just such a specific skill that I would've liked to see it addressed in more detail. Other than that, the romance just kind of happened smoothly, which is fine I suppose. Just not very exciting.

8/4/25 First volume was good and cute, oneshot was cute, slightly worse translation. Second volume, worse translation, and then as I skimmed it the younger seme mentioned getting taller eugh. So lame. Just let him be shorter, enough with the bigger=dominant trope. I skimmed the rest of Vol 2 because of the translation being worse.
