I love this story now! It's been the gift that keeps on giving. I'm really curious to see how much of the manga makes it into the anime.

This series is so satisfying! Having read all four volumes now, Janome has a preference for sensitive tops and assertive bottoms. Overall is really nice to see characters who aren't so easily defined by their 'roles', and the care they take to recognize and support each other through insecurities. Someone commented the are reminded them of Classmates, and it does have a similar vibe. A satisfyingly loose artistic expression (though not nearly as loose as Classmates), and an emphasis on slice of life storytelling that builds romantic tensions and resolution through regular, everyday interactions.

Oh yes, I loved this SO MUCH. the affection, the backwards relationship arc, the art, all of it. Chef's kiss. Straight to the favorites list!! Re-read: the eye contact in the last chapter, augh

A rare ojisan BL! Nice story about unrequited love finally being requited. Wholesome and grounded.

Hmm... Objectively I think they should probably be together. Lying to themselves and their families, potentially forever, is a long, lonely road.

Communication too long. Provisionally 4* pending the ending (but it's probably 5*) Has a bit of Doushitemo Furetakunai vibes. 54 — aww, surprise visit is cute. Apparently there's an anime coming? Gotta be comic Festa something lol. 60 - this lack of trust mini arc is lame - just use your words, already!

4* because there's a third act twist reveal that their new homeroom teacher is an ACTUAL PEDO PSYCHO, and it's completely glossed over. They bust up his face, but don't call the cops?! Aside from that, it's a cute childhood friends developing their relationship. Especially like that they come out (sort of lol) at school, and no one cares, because they've already been obvious about it for several chapters.

Yup, this is a special one!! First of all, vers couple. Second of all THE STORY OMG. The HONESTY of the confessions! And the translation is fantasic, so natural (almost *too* colloquial at times), they feel like just a couple of people who happened to meet. And then on top of that, all the sex is for a purpose that advances the story a bit (while also being really good)

O....kay??? Not what I was expecting guy gets blow jobs from the one he likes (a beautiful long-haired guy), but thinks his feelings are unrequited. Confronts him, and finds out they're not... They fall into bed and it turns out he's the bottom?? I mean, I'm not complaining, just unexpected.
