Hm, I wonder if that's it! I got so into this one it felt like a longer series in the making (like case fic that's also a romance, but I guess that kind of manga can't be THAT common lol. I should get back to Night Beyond the Tri-cornered Window, I guess. I wish there was more of the social stuff I think, coworkers reactions (both positive and negative.) Oh!! There's a sequel! I guess I'll have to keep checking back to see if the scanlator picks that one up too.

7/16/25 Whether I come back and rate this 5 depends on the sequel! I really enjoyed the more grounded story.

8/2/25 This is an EXCELLENT collection of mildly spicy shojo one shots. All of them feature a first kiss, and they're drawn in a way that is deeefinitrly more smut adjacent than not. Makes me. wonder why the artist is used to drawing.

8/4/25 First volume was good and cute, oneshot was cute, slightly worse translation. Second volume, worse translation, and then as I skimmed it the younger seme mentioned getting taller eugh. So lame. Just let him be shorter, enough with the bigger=dominant trope. I skimmed the rest of Vol 2 because of the translation being worse.

Cute with a huge helping of slapstick. The shocked expressions are so deadpan, and the way neither guy is able to hide their embarrassment when the story needs them to be honest is great. Could be better if it was a little longer so the slapstick pacing isn't so fast. 9/3/25 Reread! Still very fast, but it's cute. I'm convinced Taka must be or know gay men, or something. Or the translation just makes it feel more directly 'gay', idk. But the way sex is drawn also kinda seems like it? Especially that the bottom always seems openly enthusiastic, and gets to wrap their legs around the top to show it. That's definitely less common that you'd think in BL manga. Oh whoops I was mistaking them for the same author as the Leo and Shion manga... Hm, but they're still good! I think the janky faces are part of what makes it so enjoyable. They don't feel like perfect models, more like just a couple of guys.

9/13/25 Wow, Koyomi's proposal to Mitama in ch 6 is possibly THE most romantic thing I've ever read. "If there's such a thing as reincarnation, I want to be together in our next lives too." KYAAAAAA! And all the rest. It's a product of translation, but the word usage and phrasing was so confident and imperative. "Never doubt you're the one for me." for example. Augh
