Kimi to Natsu no Naka
A very sweet romance in the vein of Classmates and Blue Sky Complex. These are becoming a favorite vibe! High school boyfriends that grow up together through college and beyond. <3
Mizu No Haru
Ummm.... I don't like the lie the one kid used about his "dad" molesting him, and then the manga panels from his POV ALSO implying this, despite it all being a fake lie. It's a gross trope that really sours the otherwise fluffy vibe of the whole manga. The writing is also very loose and the art confusing - lots of same face and same hair lol.
Shinyuu no
A cute little friends to lovers plot, plus mutual pining/unrequited love. Not as peak as my absolute favorite one of these, but in the same vein, and with a similar confession (though less dramatic).
Shishunki Cherry Bullet
Meh. I did like that instead of the maid outfit, Asahi wanted to see Azusa in a butler outfit. That's cute. Other than that, it's kind of... Uninteresting. They get together right away, and then the rest of the story is just rehashing that they like each other, Azusa pushing for sex, and then pushing back against *too much* sex. Find some balance, geez!
Uemura-kun ha Majime na Iiko
Fluffy and smutty but honestly just kinda boring. Very short.
Mahoutsukai wa furete tokeru
Well that was super sweet! I've never seen an uke kiss the seme so sweetly as Liz did in the last chapter! The setup is thoughtful but I wish there was more to the magic and school life, like a longer series would have. (a sign to read Witch Hat lol) Only reason I'm marking it 4/5.
Houkago no Fujun
Started interesting with the initial confession happening offscreen, but ultimately an awkward story not helped by bad translation. Elements like Mizutani being groped on the train and his childhood crush coming back as a teacher (bleh) didn't get any satisfying resolution.
Ato Hitoiki De Ai
One shots and 2-3 ch mini stories. The one shots were better than the last one, which never quite landed for me. It has the lightest of dubcon (the 'what have I done' trope) and the receiving character is bafflingly dense when it comes to sharing feelings, and this is never explained or justified. The others were fine. The art is very nice! Unique style of expressions, and inclusion of comedy.
Kare No Tokubetsu Na Kare
I only skimmed this, and it was meh. Student council president Tatsuya secretly wrote a very popular novel that Suruga (a teen actor) wants to play the lead in... And when he reveals he's the author there's literally no traction at all?? Also the sex is not well framed, it looks like he (Suruga) just shoves it in dry without any prep. Ick. I am gonna check out the spinoff with the B guy, Masa, who was Tatsyua's friend that he rejected.
