Not a big fan of this one but don't hate it. Strangely I read others on a similar level of twisted but enjoyed those more. Regardless thank you translators for your had work. After reading Daigishi no Ichizoku I actually love this couple just not in this story.

This manga was amazing. Sad and heartbreaking. Sweet and twisted. Poor child being born as pretty as a doll made him suffer beyond reason. He grew cold after countless years of abuse, he met a boy who revived feelings he didn’t know existed and hurt him in the same way he was hurt. After a long sequence of events they understood each other and their feelings became mutual but since the dolls life was so tragic he pushed his only light away to forever drown in darkness.

You have to read Aru Otoko no Uta and Yoru To Asa No Uta first in order to mentally prepare for this manga. I like many twisted/viloent type manga but this one particularly was not my taste. After reading the first part it was easier to digest and accept his vile treatment. It wasn't horrible or exactly enjoyable. The visual was pretty vivid so made certain scenes more intensely disturbing. I wouldn't recommend reading it before the first part. I like other works by this mangaka so, if this is the first work you read by them don't let it influence your opinion or define all their work.
