Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami

Ongoing | Reia,Umemiya Suki | 2000 released

Review: The author had certainly hooked me, not because of the fantasy and romance as you might think, but because of how business and marketing is involved. The protagonist is a reincarnated saleswoman.

Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu

Ongoing | Tachibana Yuka,Syuri Yasuyuki | 2000 released

So good. Genuinely. I love how it’s so non-stereotypical. It kind of reminds me of “The Affairs of the Other World Depend on the Corporate Slave” in that romance kind of (?) takes a backseat and the MC is more focused on doing what they can to help others around them. All the characters are very charming (Kudos to artist Fujiazuki for their amazing art), and I love the subtlety in character growth and the development of character relationships between the MC and other supporting characters. I like the MC’s mature and modest character. She’s even a researcher?? You don’t see that often at all. It’s also SO refreshing that she gets along with the girl summoned with her! The romance is slow and just right. I personally love the ML! He has the looks, he’s caring, and a knight!!

149 At first this was just better than average, but it gradually got so much better!! I liked this more, the more I read. I love the character development of the MC. She might look dainty, but she’s actually quite strong and stern. Same goes for the ML, Hue. He goes from a well known womanizer to a man who is head over heels for his wife. Hue is a classic war-hero-from-the-North ML, but he also shows vulnerabilities. I simply adore their dynamic as it develops. In the beginning, she is weak but she learns to say no and becomes a great figure in the political sphere. They’re honest with each other in what they can share. Her relationships with side characters are also well illustrated. Like with Damien, Hue’s heir and son. Also can’t forget about her long-standing friendship with Norman! The angst is a little frustrating but their first reconciliation is well handled after. I personally love the change in art style; I think it’s a lot better than before. It’s also refreshing how they don’t shy away from the sexual aspect often in marriage. The age gap is still a bit iffy for me personally, but the fact they’re a power couple kinda makes up for it for me.
