Love the writing style and the parallels one can see between their grandparents' relationship and the main couple's. I don't much about kabuki, so it was also fun, learning more about Japanese culture. Who doesn't like seeing a cute, healthy relationship? I also love how they resolved themselves to be together through thick and thin. One of the highlights of this manga was self discovery, especially in regards to youth. I really liked how it showed the gay struggle and kind of "punching up" at society and its preset ideologies. It's kind of sad how they had to hide their true selves. Made me cry at times. ( ´_ゝ`）Plus, the sex was handled so well? Like??? Their communication later on in the story was so pleasant. I loved that. Loved the side characters. Both the internal and external conflict felt very relatable, and it's a light and easy read. Made me fanboy a ton, too! The ending is super fulfilling; it's been such a while since I've felt so satisfied after reading a BL! I like how the author dives deep into the exact nature of their leads relationship and what it means to their families they are supposed to inherit the name of. I love the theme of persevering through it with their love, and it's just very wholesome I think. And there's the additional layer of tragedy with the tale of their grandparents not being able to continue their career as duo… Or even their budding love ever come to light. The kabuki elements ofc are the highlights of this manga! The stories are well researched, and might I say just as captivating as the main couple's story. I loved seeing them grow personally and their acting as well! The art is just so gorgeous and— GAH I HAVE NO MORE WORDS I LOVE THIS U SHOULD READ IT
