DistopiA ~Mikansei na Sekai~
For the author’s first work, it wasn’t bad? Before the reveal, I was tripping over myself, trying to wrap my brain around how the MC fell in love with an amalgamation of data… Like is he mentally deranged? If Ichi wasn’t real, he would be just like the guy who married Hatsune Miku lmao. Anyway, the plot twist was good. Cute, typical story. I just wish the ending wasn’t so rushed. Where’s the established relationship fluff??
To deny the route
ughh this is too good. really want more updates! academy life, magic, fantasy…. I LOVE. i love almost cliché plots like these, and i’m rly enjoying the execution. rooting for ilya obviously. Update: I liked the fluff and all, but this was wayyyy too slow burn-y. And all for a rushed ending? So many unanswered questions. It wasn't satisfying at all. It just gets all mushy, gushy and goes back to the title, but it doesn't have any substance. Still, I did enjoy reading their journey to the end, so I'll give this brownie points for that. The leads are cute together. Good story. Crappy ending.
Don't Offend the Male Lead
Honestly interesting, courtesy of the fantasy setting. I like the MC's headstrong personality. I was kinda out off by the fact that him and the ML are both blond at first, but I got used to it. The face slapping is satisfying even though the villains are insufferable and idiotic. The art's great, so you may want to give this a try.
Feast of Flowers
This is really enjoyable! The characters are interesting. Who doesn’t like a vampire ML? I also like how the setting’s relatively lowkey. The MC is just managing a small restaurant.
Koko wa YES to Ittekure
This was so feet-kicking-in-the-air cute!! I like how they were an older, more mature couple. They communicated like the adults they were. I also loved the fluff and the playful teasing. They just had a very enjoyable dynamic, and I’m sad it ended….
HOME5
can’t wait for the official trans!! anyway, the mc is so embarrassing… but the ml does have a well defined character. that can be said for all the characters actually. the summary is kind of misleading, and i’m not sure i like all the side couple business going on tbh. but fairly good story
Ameagari no Bokura ni Tsuite
I loved the characters. They each had their own issues, but they dealt with it together. I desperately need more volumes, though… It kinda of felt short lived, but there are untranslated sequels to this! Like I needed more closer on Mashiro’s mother (her narcissism and all) and more of the main couple’s life together. This was so sweet. I loved the style of art, which protrayed the characters painfully realistically. Their story wasn’t a fantasy or anything, just a normal part of their lives. 10/10 would read again
Hitori de Yoru wa Koe Rarenai
The setting takes forbidden romance to the next level. I love how it’s accurate to the times back then (it doesn’t pull any soft punches) and the angst is just so, so good. Their characters have layers, too… How the leads both have PTSD and such. Love the symbolism and art as well. Very masterful storytelling! Loved puppy Jim and Sei. I’m glad this has a happy ending despite being in the WW2 era. This author always hits.
