Horegusuri wo nonda supadari ga yabasugimasu!
Yeah, this is not a masterpiece by any means, but it's a cute, fluff-filled manga. Don't ask how a grown man (Maoka) thought a love potion actually thought the old lady had a love potion. Don't ask the ML (Botan) lowkey coerced him into doing it…. A lot of smut which is okay and all, but… just why? Guess everyone likes sexy baristas? The first season is a prolonged misunderstanding, and it's solved so quickly. MC's like: "Oh, you had your reasons for lying! No one likes to lie." Well, what if I did O-O. What if I liked to lie? Logic is just so…. argh it's hard to believe these are two adults here. Second season looks like a prelude to an incessant love angle. Great. Positive remarks: Liked the fluff and the subtle changes in the leads' characters. Shows how much they influence the other! What started with a wacky premise became a wholesome story about overcoming and confronting past trauma, also healing with a lot of smut ofc
Simplified Pervert Romance
It's another one of those really smutty but also really fluffy romance stories. Misunderstandings and fights galore. But they contributed so much to the the story! Yeah, they fought a lot, but it just reminded me of the fact that they're two stubborn high schoolers who have trouble expressing their feelings. Has a sort of "youth" vibe but instead of maturing and all that, it also has those childish moments that you have when you're a teenager. Two idiots in love. Two boys in love. Brimming with funny moments. Appreciated the side characters. Of course, you have to mention the beautiful art that elevated everything to the max! There were so many times I was reading this that I found just insanely romantic. Laughing to yourself while thinking about that person… I think this manga did a great job at implementing those subtleties in the characters. Aligned with my perspective on truly liking someone as they are and being influenced by them. Anyway, love love loveee this so much oml. The punchlines are often humorous, but don't let that get to you! A lighthearted read.
