Lady beast

Ongoing | SWAN, NOW (Nau) | 2000 released

What in the world is this?!! Have we switched bodies forever? That’s what Elise thought when she looked at her own self, not in a mirror, but her actual body with her own two eyes. You wouldn’t believe what she had thought when she looked in the mirror and found herself looking at her husband’s, Duke Jin Jo’s face. Review: Ah, yes. One of the most unbearable pains known to women. . . The menstrual cycle. I’m definitely rooting for the male love interest. He obviously cares for our protagonist. Plus, he understands a woman’s pain when she goes through that time. I like the plot and mystery surrounding their switching of bodies. I love how the artist shows that through their facial expressions. It’s always clear, and the artist certainly knows how to make their personalities shine. The art style is a win for me, and so is the storyline. I love reading fantasy comics in a more historical setting such as the time of the monarchy and the existence of nobles. I’ve already read plenty of comics surrounding that trope, but I can’t get enough of it. I look forward to seeing the future of this comic. Comment: Foreshadowing is ominous indeed. . . Also, unrequited love kind of sucks, but what irritates me is that sometimes, people drown themselves in their insecurities and blind themselves to the love that is right in front of them. That’s all. Side note: Caught up to chapter 71.

Herscherik - The Epic of the Reincarnated Prince

Complete | kusunoki nobiru,ariko, kitaguni rato | 2019 released

Ryouko Hayakawa, a hardcore otaku, was just about to have her thirty-sixth birthday before dying in a car accident. Or so she thought. She found herself to be reincarnated as the seventh prince, Herscherik! Herscherik finds himself in a fantasy world he could only imagine in his previous life! At the bright age of three, he realizes he must utilize the office work skills from his previous life to take action! Comment: It’s rather a shame that the artist quit working on this comic. I foresaw so much latent potential surrounding this comic. However, I understand where the artist is coming from. There might have been some personal interferences with this, and I understand that. I have experienced it firsthand how it feels to juggle writing a story and your life outside of that. I may not be the best person qualified to say this, but the author’s health comes first. That is what I am concerned about first. I sincerely hope the author recovers because they have created a piece that I won’t forget for sure. That is all I have to comment. p.s: and yes I know I ripped off my summary off of the other one, but I just couldn’t find any words to describe it. ( ͡°_ʖ ͡°)

Head Over Heels

Complete | South star,Prishe | 2019 released

Woohyun is rich and has the whole silver package, good looks, popularity, money—you name it! It just so happens that this Woohyun is also—a total douchebag and bully. The one that receives this harassment is none other than Ha Yan, a frail girl that is easy to pick on. The weird thing is: it seems that she actually likes his attention and starves for it. This obsession that slowly grows and has yet to enrapture them. . . Could this craving possible morph into something more? Review: The main characters have triggering pasts and their different personalities are what make them so intriguing. A sadist and a masochist. What a perfect couple. To be honest, they complement each other really well. The side characters play a key role in the storyline as well, and I can’t help but empathize with them. Based on the few chapters I’ve read, I have yet to see where this story is going to go. I like the art. The artist(s) has their ways of showing rather unique expressions that other artists wouldn’t dare to draw. I like that aspect about this comic. Comment: Yo. At first, I thought this was going to be an angsty story about bullying, right? Nope! It’s about a psychotic girl that gets off of pain and would do anything for her beloved. By reading this comic, I think I have some weird arse kinks. (‘-’*) I think this comic might be revealing my masochistic desires. I don’t know how to feel about Ha Yan. Isn’t stabbing someone in the back kind of messed up? I’m kind of put off by that.

The Archbishop is Searching for a Marriage Partner

Ongoing | Ema okadachi,Yasuyuki syuri | 2019 released

Comment: why do I have a sinking feeling that the archbishop will decline all the marriage candidates, and the protagonist will end up being the one marrying the archbishop? (ノ-_-)ノ ~┻━┻
