Raising a Bat

Complete | Jade | 2015 released

Review: So I managed to stop being a weakling, and I read the whole thing. It really represents anxiety and insecurity to a T. I could relate to both Chun Sam and Mingyum. A couple had a weird age gap.... Not to mention the fact that Mingyum got groomed by a bis3xual man (demonizing bisexuals again). The art style didn’t allow for that many dark skinned people in the manhwa. I don’t think I saw any which put me off. I liked the story, though. Guess I like established relationship fluff. Side note: Left off on chapter 27. (I legit could not handle the kiss)

Isekai De "kuro No Iyashi Te" Tte Yobarete Imasu

Complete | fujima miya,murakami yuichi | 2015 released

Review: This manga was good. It got axed, so the mangaka had no choice but to rush the ending. I enjoyed reading the story line. Reene and Noche were an amazing couple. The ending tied some loose ends, but that’s all. I liked it overall, but I wish there could have been more too it.

Kimi wa Natsu no Naka

Complete | Nagisa Furuya | 2000 released

Review: I loved this manga so much. It had a developed story, great art, and a storyline without any unnecessary drama. I loved this. It was bit angst at times, but that’s one of the reasons why this manga was so good. I loved how we got a happy ending. Reread this please.

Itsuka Tomodachi Ja Nakunaru To Shite Mo

Complete | Uka Kasai | 2012 released

Review: This manga rendered me speechless. This was so uplifting and beautiful. This was definitely worth the read.

Te O Tsunai De Koi O

Complete | takaoka nanaroku | 2000 released

Review: I thought it was nice. The second couple was kind of eh— Um, idk.

Kare No Tokubetsu Na Kare

Complete | narusaka rin | 2012 released

Review: It was so fun to laugh at and slice-y life-y. I loved their bickering and the sexual tension. Definitely one of the examples of the “hate to love” trope that I like.
