Holy Chef, Crazy Empress
You know what they say “Food is the way to someone’s love.” Or something like that. Don’t @ me. Review: This manhua (I’m pretty sure this is of Chinese origin) surpassed my expectations. The art kept consistently improving. The food was deliciously drawn, so that was a sure plus! The storyline was built into a solid plot. I loved the character development, the historical aspect of this comic, and almost everything about it. This comic is more of a slice of life and comedy than a romance one. The drama kept me hooked, and I binge-read this in one sitting. It kind of took a toll on me, but I didn’t mind. That’s how good this is. I can’t wait for the next chapters to come. Side note: Caught up to chapter 166.
The Scholar's Reincarnation
Review: Like most Chinese manhuas I’ve read, this manhua has a rather slow, yet intriguing plot. Action packed battles, overpowered characters, reincarnation, and comedy—all of these elements are combined and tucked into this comic. If you’re down for that, then I’d suggest this comic! Side note: Left off on chapter 22.
Tensei Kizoku no Isekai Boukenroku ~Jichou wo Shiranai Kamigami no Shito~
Review: I really like this manga! I really do, but the harem situation is a bit— It’s just not my cup of tea. I like how the plot is going, and the art looks spectacular! 8/10. Side note: Caught up to chapter 24.
