Kataomoi x Kataomoi
The stories were nice. The first story had a good combination of school life and smut. Interesting premise, but it kind of bored me. Pretty sweet, though. The leads’ personalities were funny, given the fact this was mainly a romcom. Second story wasn’t all that, but it was cute.
Pass, Nonpass
The short stories are all really good and enjoyable. What surprised me was that the author managed to make each couple unique in their own right, aside from them having a color assigned to them. All of them have this comedic, yet sensitive touch with their own storylines and different resolutions. You’d think it to be janky, but it’s strangely cohesive. Kudos to the author for pulling this off. Satisfying and enjoyable read. Great art, too. I especially liked the yellow and blue couple.

Kedamono Kareshi (aomoto Sari)
I think Tada and Emami weren’t bad. I’ve read worse. Plus, they were semi-cute. I like their extra in “Kare no Shousou to Koi ni Tsuite.” The other stories were pretty mid, but I liked the third one as well. Short but sweet friends-to-lovers story.
Kimi He Otodoke
So cute! I wanted more of the first couplemet. They were so funny and cute, and I liked the theme that it's okay to betray someone's expectations. The second couple was meh.
Sorekara, Kimi wo Kangaeru
I usually don’t like one shot anthologies, but this one was pretty good! The stories all kind of balanced each other. The first two were about a rather bittersweet, unfulfilled love, and the others felt a bit more hopeful in nature. I especially liked the third one! It was very fluffy, the one with the delinquent-looking guy and otaku. The second one was the weakest story-wise imo. The first and last ones were very atmospheric and felt realistic (in part due to the art). Good read.
Yoake no Joshou
I came for the cover (Arun is so fracking hawt), but the first couple wasn’t that bad! I liked how it was actually mutual love all along, and it showed us their relationship as adults. Very wholesome and sweet. Also realistic! I appreciated how the author included their fears of being rejected as a gay couple. Kiichi’s brother’s love story was also pretty sweet. Loved their dynamic. Anyway, this taught me I need more Indian rep in BL!
Two Hot Bachelors
Actually wayy better than I expected. In the first story, I just couldn’t bring myself to like the ML… his experience with loss was very relatable tho. and his dark circles were hot. i don’t think the chemistry was there tbh… sure, there was attraction but idk. i desperately need the second volume to see more of their couple dynamic because the silly misunderstandings were not it for me… very sexy though. almost too much sexy. second couple was meh. not my cup of tea for now
