7/10 Very realistic, relatable manhwa. You can really connect to the two leads and identify with their struggles. From that standpoint, it’s well written. As a romance, this is pretty lacking. It feels like we’re being told that the leads are romantic, they’re this or that, etc, but I don’t think the author sufficiently expresses their supposed chemistry. Like the leads’ relationship, the story also feels unstable with the constant switching back and forth from the present to the past. It’s not the worst execution I’ve seen. I personally DESPISED the second couple like you will never convince to feed into the teacher x high schooler bull. They were just unneeded. This story gave me mixed emotions and had a bland aftertaste. Ending is also kind of abrupt and offered no resolution to Sunwoo’s major plagiarism conflict. I sound harsh, but it’s ultimately because I think this could’ve been so much more than it is.

This was actually pretty cute! I like the concept of shinigami having this class/hierarchal system. The romance is cute but also bittersweet. I think the shinigami still loved the MC is in his own way. I just think it’s too short— there was so much potential with the world building! anyway, I actually liked this more than I thought I would.

This was great!! I loved how lowkey and realistic it was. The plot isn’t the most developed, but I think that’s kind of the point. You see the two leads and their child living as a family and going about their day to day lives. I rly like like the idea that they are “meant for each other,” that they are each other’s home, and are full of love. anyway, sobbing

29 LOVING the found family vibes ngl i think people are being too harsh. the main plot is pretty cliché, but this story adds its own twist to it. even the side characters are interesting. the art isn’t the greatest, but this is worth it imo. there’s also an actual gay side couple (zanbar x jenkins) which is rare in these types of manhwa

Honestly, this is pretty cute! I like the idea of a love that isn’t destined but one that kind of just happens naturally on its own. Mid though. It would’ve been cool if the leads’ backstories had been fleshed out more instead of all the smut. The ending isn’t very satisfying, but it does stick to the natural, slice of life feel that this manga has.

I need moreee! The art is absolutely gorgeous. The romance and dialogue is actually pretty good for its short length, and the sex is realistic?! The ML is literally so pretty and def falls under the puppy trope. Actually pretty wholesome. I need more MLs like the ML, and I need more stories like this!!

Love, love the food elements! Also love the themes of youth and how their love is portrayed… Feels very natural, and I love how they can feel so at ease with one another. The domesticity is insane, and reading this definitely gives me feet-kicking-in-the-air moments 29

this is pretty interesting! i like that the dom is a sub and the sub is a top (initially). i always wondered why subs HAD to be bottoms and vice versa. it’s also my first time seeing a major character in the dom/subverse actually be a switch. plot-wise it’s pretty basic. the author making them both switches near the end is interesting to me. you often see physically switches but not so much mental switches. it does kind of feel like a cop out, though, because it kind of erases what made this story so unique in the first place, a sub wanting to top a dom. I’d like to see this idea expanded upon in a different way with better execution. this was cute, though
