Jishou Akuyaku Reijou na Konyakusha no Kansatsu Kiroku

Ongoing | Shiki,Hasumi Natsume | 2000 released

Tia is such a fluffy cinnamon roll. I love how even though she attempts to act alike a villainess, she could never truly be evil at her core. The people around her . . . that’s a different story. Sometimes, I question whether or not Bertia is actually the villainess and not her colleagues. XD It was a nice change of pace, since she immediately blurted out that she had a past life. The male lead is cunning, handsome, and clever. I love that about him. Tia is more straightforward, expressive, and bubbly. They’re perfect for each other! So refreshing for a villainess story! The MC is naïve, and the ML is lowkey a psychopath, but they do adore each other! That's what matters ig… I really like this manga for that. I liked the ending because it also doesn't villainess the original heroine too much. This story is far from cliché, and I love it for that. This is very lighthearted and enjoyable manga! I just don't like the lowkey incestuous vibes near the end.

Rebirth of the Villainess: The Life of Letizia after the Engagement Annulment

Ongoing | UZUKI Mitsubi, TOMIZUKI Ichino | 2000 released

Review: First thoughts: Plot lowkey kind of reminds me of “Doctor Elise,” but we’ll see how this differs. Update: I like it so far. I haven’t read enough of it to properly judge it, but I think it’s decent. The male lead is fine, and the story overall is okay. Side note: Caught up to chapter 15.

Review: The storyline wasn’t well developed, and I feel like some plot points were simply glossed over in the story. The *** doesn’t really add anything, despite just being there to help you get aroused (?). Plus, the “make-me-pregnant-like-my-long-time-crush-did-to-someone-that-is-not-me-and-ejaculate-in-my-womb” scene was not it. I didn’t feel any chemistry between them. Who the Hades responds to “Princess, do you love me?” with “Yeah.”? I am c o n f u s i o n. Like what? Side note: I forgot to mention this when I first wrote this, but I had originally been thinking about it, but it slipped away for a few moments. Then, I grabbed it back like desperately snatching a balloon’s string just as it was beyond my reach. I dislike it when authors feminize the uke. I honestly don’t mind it usually, but there’s a place where I draw the line. The line is drawn when the author literally describes, draws, and implements “feminine” mannerisms into the uke going so far as to make the character’s identity become lost to the point where the uke is basically a girl with something extra down there. When semes mention that they might “impregnate” the uke or “make them their woman,” it’s kind of degrading because WHY WOULD YOU WRITE A BL (BOY’S LOVE) IF YOU’RE JUST GOING TO MAKE IT STRAIGHT BUT SPICY?!! I kind of just skimmed over the story, but yeah. These are my thoughts. In general, I would not read this again. :l

Pregnant Wife, One Plus One

Ongoing | yuè,wé,n mà,nhuà, (阅文漫画) | 2019 released

Review: I caught up with all the chapters so far, and let me just say the plot was so predictable. The ML is a CEO AND a prince? Pick one please. I loved how there’s a “strong female lead” tag on this, but it seems like she gets trapped by the ML with little to no difficulty. Why is the ML disappointed when he “finds out” that she wasn’t his one night stand? Like, are you delusional or something? The chances of that actual happening are super low, and you got your hopes up for what? The plot is super confusing, and I don’t understand the protagonist’s actions. Why? Just why? There are so many unexplained plot points that get blurred. I just can’t— The literal only good aspects about this comic is that the kid is hilarious, and the love interests are both attractive. I can’t believe I thought I would enjoy this. Comment: Awwww, it’s the kissing with no consent for me. It’s the contradictory behavior for me. It’s the possessive traits for me. It’s the translation for me. It’s the red flags for me. It’s the “we’re destined to be together, so you can never escape from me” for me. It’s chapter 29, page 24 for me. P.S: Left off on chapter 36
