I Picked A Hammer To Save The World

Ongoing | | 2019 released

This is really good, but it’s also really slow. The characters are pretty good, I like how the MC has distinct character. He’s not the brightest, but he’s still strong. It’s also interesting as the MC weilds a hammer rather than your typical sword. I also like the action. Story set-up is kinda basic, but I’d like to know where the author takes this.

Terminally-Ill Genius Dark Knight

Ongoing | | 2022 released

I quite like the main character and the art, but the female characters ruin this for me. They feel shallow and like "damsels in distress." It's really irritating. but because I like the action, I'm willing to tough it out to see if they develop into better characters.

In This Life, the Greatest Star in the Universe

Ongoing | Sol, Sonyun | 2023 released

Pretty good. I’ve read the novel for this, and it’s kind of mid, but I don’t mind a good idol manhwa! Plus, the art is really nice so far. Plot’s kind of lacking.

The Useless Skill [Auto Mode] Has Been Awakened ~Huh, Guild's Scout, Didn't You Say I Wasn't Needed Anymore?~

Ongoing | Nakajima Rei,La軍 | 2021 released

Help, his skill was not useless at all even prior to his buff. It’s a decent manga but the fan service kind of turns me off. Like these are fifteen year-olds, okay…. Aside from that, I do like the premise. The MC’s skill is cool, kind of like Zenitsu’s. Also liking the action. The characters are superficial so far, so I’m hoping to see more depth.

The 100th Regression of the Max-Level Player

Ongoing | 킹소다, Gold Hand | 2023 released

This gives a new definition to the “game” often found in dungeon manhwa. It has this SAO vibe where if they die in the game, they die in real life, too. So far, I like it. I like the MC’s personality (though it is a bit typical) and his skill set (e.g. mf uses a freaking scythe how cool is that). I wish we could’ve seen his growth more because he’s OP from the outset. The art is delicious. but aside from that, story-wise, it could be better. (unrelated) I like the height difference the MC has between him and younger brother. I’ll read more to see how he assembles his “perfect” party.

Star-Fostered Swordmaster

Ongoing | Juno, Q10, Hong Dae-Wui | 2000 released

The art is good, and the MC has a somewhat interesting motive, revenge. His character is cool, calculating, yet not very ambitious. It has all the basic fundamentals to a decent story, but personally, it bores me. Nothing special. Good premise, but nothing's set in stone yet.

Steel-Eating Player

Ongoing | Gamdog 9, JJJ , 지점장 | 2023 released

Eh pretty good. I like the MC's ability. Haven't really seen anything alike. This is another one of those dungeon manhwa combined with the military. So far, everything's a little surface level. He keeps talking about his trauma, his past comrades, getting all wistful about it, but I don’t feel anything ngl. No heartstrings tugged.

Hero the Maximum

Ongoing | Park Jae-yi | 2023 released

erm the mc isn't rly mc-ing but that's ok ig. this is some my hero type schist. the mc is ignorant but he's strong and all that. what rly makes this stand out is the world building. like a world where heros and villains supposedly join hands for peace but really... something else is happening behind the scenes... some of the characters are mysterious and i find their designs interesting... like the mc's dad and the red haired guy. i think this has potential
