This was so GOOD. To quote the words of the author, this was definitely an “answer song” to the first volume of Doukyuusei. This definitely has a lot more drama… Their breakup felt slightly out of place like they had been together for so many years, and it happens just like that? It was like an emotional regression like another reader said, so that didn’t quite fit with the tone for the rest of the story. Still, I quite liked this! Their wedding was so BEAUTIFUL, and they’re so in love… ugh i love them!! This gave me a large sense of closure. One thing I’ve always loved about this series is the mature tone and how realistic it feels. Like the whole ordeal with Sajo’s father initially not supporting him… Tears. It certainly lives up to the past volumes!

The first four chapters were top tier… I’ll always the childhood friends to lovers trope. I thought this was really cute! It’s kinda refreshing that none of the leads see bottoming as some sort of degrading thing. Actually they both like it a lot! Which is so nice because I’m so used to seeing “tops” fight over who gets to have the “man’s role” or whatever (which is bogus). I feel like vers couples in gay romance should be way more popular. I liked that the leads are pretty honest with each other about their feelings. The angst is short lived, making this a short, light read. BUT WHAT THE HELL WAS THE LAST CHAPTER… selfcest *sobs*

48 This is definition of a toxic relationship… The ML can’t stand not being in control of their relationship and whenever the MC does something he deems is “wrong,” he punishes the MC. He controls the MC’s every move, and the MC can’t really do anything because he’s being threatened. The ML is super abusive. I’m interestingggg how things will unfold, though, so ig I will keep reading? The art is good at least

39 Cute, fluffy story you can turn off your brain cells too. Ofc it’s smutty as well. Doesn’t really stand out in this genre. I wish we could’ve seen more of ML’s (Ren) feelings about being a man and wearing lingerie, but this isn’t some sort of deep analysis of society. Pretty surface level stuff. Decent enough to entertain if u have nothing else to read!

46 Yk I don’t usually love love angles, but the MC’s sweet relationship with Heeseop makes it so worth it… The drama ofc pisses me off but what can you do…. Crossing my fingers so hard that he’s the ML. Ppl say the MC is a player, but he’s really not. He’s made his stance clear from the beginning. ANYWAY THE ART IS AMAZING

Decent read. Kinda forgettable thp

Loveee the beautiful, flowy art! This explores relatable struggles of youth,portraying the conflict with first love and one’s identity. I also really liked how this manga illustrates the leads exploring their sexuality, adding another layer of relatability. I lovee how the dom/sub dynamics are portrayed here. Good mix of the commands as well as praise! Besides that the romance feels very natural and healthy. I desperately need more of them! The only problem is that this was too short, meaning thee characters lack a little depth.

Ridiculous premise! Pretty fun though. I liked the bickering and all, but the characters themselves are pretty shallow. This was entertaining for what it was. The art carried imo

6 Despite this being very smutty, I do like this a lot! The romance is interesting to me because they have this lovely bickering dynamic but there are almost sm moments where it shows how they rly care about each other and i love that

This was cute! I liked the high school life setting with the different fantasy races. Added another layer of intrigue and uniqueness. I just thought the mystical race experimentation subplot with Tams was kind of random. Other than that, they were so cute! Also I loved Bram more than I thought I would, the MC’s bat friend hehe
